- The surroundings are lovely..the whole college is covered with greenery.
- Food available in the canteen was hygienic and affordable
- Library and classrooms were nice and the faculties were okyish

- Not all the faculties but some of them were too strict
- Toilets were not so good..Don't know the current scenario as I completed my graduation last year
Course Curriculum Overview
I heard from someone that geography department of darrang College is good and so I decided took admission there..And from my experience it was good.. There needs to be improvement in exams result duration..it takes almost 7-8months..
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees for doing bachelor in geography was around 45k-50k.Per semester it was around 8k...It includes all the other fees like lab fees, practical fees, marksheet fees etc. The fees varies from person to person.Fee waiver for economically weak are also there.. And the fees for other courses are different as they don't have practicals..In practical subjects like geography,botany we have to pay extra practical and lab fees.. Scholarship and financial aid were also available although I didn't applied for it but my friends did..They got Ishan Uday scholarship where they were given a amount of 108000rs as scholarship.eligibility for that scholarship was 75% marks in 12th and annual income of below 4lakhs.
Campus Life
I didn't got too many festival because of COVID but they do celebrate festivals and parties like freshers, farewell and Excursions and picnic too.. All types and genre of books were available in the library.. The facilities in the classroom were not too good..only desk,benches and blackboard.. There are some students run groups and clubs..like abvp,aasu
Admission
The admission process was smooth...The reason of taking admission in this college was because of COVID to be precise..As it was peak period of COVID..seats were filling fast in every other colleges..and I heard about this college from someone about its good faculty in geography department
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good..You can approach them without any hesitation..They are friendly The faculties I like were Niha Ma'am and Gulap sir from geography department..As they were friendly and approachable than they others.. In every semester 2-3 exams were conducted..2 sessional and one semester exam to be precise. Exams were of easy to moderate level..not too hard not too easy..the students who fail to clear were too less.. something around 2-3..that too because of less attendence
