Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very essential for us as we were from commerce background so b.com is the main backbone. And it helped us to gain knowledge and the teaching methods was too good the teacher use projector and gives us notes .
Fees and Financial Aid
Our form fillup fee was 1350. In 1sem fee was 4350 and as usual in every sem . As because of ST caste the college provides many scholarship benifits and and overall its around 18000 . This is my honest feedback about my college that it was the best in all aspects it provides us many opportunities.
Campus Life
There were many programs as we were the freshers there was a freshers program, there was college week , election voting, general freshers where singers were invited and there were functions held by ABVP. In library they provide every sem books and it has different sections Arts , Commerce and science. In classroom the facilities provided as teacher uses projector to teach which helps us to have important notes . The college campus provide us badminton, football, chess, handball, cricket, kho kho, etc. And there were many clubs i.e. media club, art and craft club, eco club, sports club.
Admission
Actually I applied in Tezpur University, Guwahati commerce College and Darrang College, as because of high cut off I didn't got into Tezpur University and in case of Guwahati commerce College I got in but Darrang college was only I was waiting for so I decided not to go in Guwahati commerce College and I choose Darrang College and I really didn't regret about decision because Darrang college is emotion. As I applied in Darrang college, I belong to ST caste my cut off was low around 78-85, in 1st merit list I didn't got into but in second merit list I got into. The eligibility of the course was you should belong to commerce background and 12th passed hence it was a good experience.
Faculty
The faculty-to-students of the Darrang college were very engaged in providing us the best facilities as some of them didn't do their work so good but out of 100% of the member 80% were very well engaged and were very good . I liked the projector system while teaching in class this provides us best notes and helps in studies. I didn't like that sometimes in girl washroom the pad machine didn't have pad in them which we face problems. Their were two exams in one semester and first one sessional and the another one is final exam it was not so easy not so hard . Overall it was good.
