Many leading companies actively seek out NIFT graduates for employement opportunities. However, the placement campus are primarily organized in metropolitan areas. As a result students from NIFT campuses located in non-metro cities often need to travel to the metro based campuses to attend these placements drives. It is important to note that the placements are awarede based on merit rather than the specific NIFT campus a student attends. The quality of the studengts portfolios and their overall performancde play a crucial role in determining their selection for available job opportunities. Since our college is a government college that's why the management of the college is not very good and effective.

To seek admission in NIFT you have to apply to the institute and then pass the university entrance exam which is quite tough. If you clear that then you have to visit the campus and book your seat by submitting your documents and fees.

For admission into the college we had to write the NIFT entrance exam. They calculate the marks you got for the entrance and the review the marks you got in your 12th and decide if they want to give admission. For the entrance exam they ask aptitude exam and your design skills.

The college is an excellent place for a design and fashion aspirant. Everyone goes back a better human being after studying in this college. The atmosphere is amazing and the facilties are at par with any fashion college in the world.

The college management is a bit tidy since it is a college under the Textile Ministry of India

I was very interested in the industrial manufacturing of garments since it is still a very labour centric industry thus it gathers lot more challenges than any other industry. India used to be prime producer of textiles and hub of cheap labours. Apparel industry indeed played a major role in flourishing the Indian economy along with the lifestyle of the people. Now India plays an vital role in service providing sector to the apparel brands of western countries.

I had an amazing experience studying in this college. The college helped me to form a successful career by not only making me learn educational knowledge but practical knowledge as well. I thank NIFT, Himachal Pradesh for providing me a happy learning experience.
