studying in the mountains

Likes

Infrastructure, very spacious. Feels like I have myself a personalised arena where I can eat, sleep, work, enjoy.
The faculties are helpful and friendly towards you if you show interest that is. (Which is true in most cases)
The classrooms are clean and nice, water filters everywhere, helpful staff, dog friendly campus, pretty Dhauladhar sunsets.

Dislikes

The students; some of them ruin the culture by being extra competitive. We are here to learn. Compete when you're asked to.
Some faculties here might be strict and demanding. Not something i dislike, but yeah it keeps you very disciplined.
When it rains, its hard to walk in campus. since its huge. and there are a lot of stairs. and the campus is basically a mountain

Admission:

I wanted this college and I achieved it. I actually wanted this very campus too. So not relatable. For this college, you need to give NIFT entrance examination. Achieve a rank below 1000, and you will probably get your preferred course. worked for me:)

Likes

It has a huge campus with a lot of place to roam around
It has two cafe coffee days to eat decent food when needed
The mess food is also decent which has a 6 month fee

Dislikes

It is a chore to get around the campus as it is on a hill
Non veg food in mess is very rare only on Sundays
Too many steps in the campus, it's too tiring

Admission:

I chose this college as it is a government college and it definitely has more brand value than private colleges, the teaching is also better than most ribate colleges, you have to pass a two round entrance examination to be selected in one of the nift colleges

Teachers in our college are amazing especially Tech, TD and FC .The combination of dedicated faculty, relevant course work and innovative assessment makes students industry ready even their are multiple industry visits for practical knowledge.
Placements : Many leading companies actively seek out for NIFT graduates for employement oppourtunities. It is important to note that placements are merit based irrespective of campus best portfolio wins.
Infrastructure The college infrastructure is well designed as it is situated in a picturesque mountains location the campus offers a serene and peacful environment for the students the natural beauty of Dhauladhar enhances overall appeal.

Dislikes

Hostels are bit needed to be managed properly they are old and you cannot survive in extreme heat the college administration should prioritize addressing these concerns to ensure that the student living experience is comfortable
Stationary are costly students prefer to get their most of the stationaries from metro cities or back from their home.

Admission:

So for BFtech one needed tp have pcm in maths beacuse you'll need to deal with technical aspects. You have to give GAT exam for entrance. And so for Bdes you can apply with any background. You have to give GAT as well as CAT.

Nift kangra an overlook

Likes

The marking system which was taking jury instead of written exams
The social culture of college makes its more than just bookish education
The method of teaching of lecturer and the way curriculum works.

Dislikes

The way a lot of money is spent in things that are not needed
There is no boys hostel in the campus area
The over leniency of teachers sometime result in non completion of syllabus

Admission:

Anyone with a 3year or 4 year bachelor's degree is eligible for the course. Application form and other details could be found out on college's prospectus or website like college Dunia itself. It could be more transparent where they can show the marks with the rank we get.

So the admission process includes 2 exams and 1 exam will have 2 part first one will include drawing band thinking skill and the second one will include reasoning, English, maths, and general knowledge and after few days results are announced and according to it u will able to to give situation exams if u haven't score marks about the merit cut of u will not be selected for the situation exam and situation exam is basically about creating 3 d things you will we provide some of the necessary things to create ba model and you have use max of items in an effective way. And after that, both the exams marks are combined and u can get a rank and according to it, councelling is done.

I applied for admission in the institute via online and i had prepared for the exam they take that is creative Ability Test and GAT, i aslo called for the interview and shortlisted fo GD.The criteria is the applicant must have passed 10+2 examination can apply for admission.

Best fashion Institute

Admission:

Whenever something related to fashion is discussed the first thing pop-up in my mind is the name of NIFT. Its a very famus Institute so without looking at other fashion institute i had already decided to take admission in it.Though there is many levels you have to paas before you got selected.NIFT take its own Creation Ability Test and Group discussions are held with the shortlisted candidates.

The students should have passed 12th exams from any recognized board and have cleared ""Creative Ability Test"" and ""General Ability Test"" which is conducted by the NIFT department. If you are selected, you need to give a situation test and after that a group discussion round. The final round will judged by the interview process on the basis of which admission will be granted.

You need to be a 12th pass out from a recognized board other than that, you need to qualify ""Creative Ability Test"" which is conducted by college officials. The test comprises of written exam, group discussion and finally the personal interview. A merit list will be declared on the college official website and you can check your name accordingly.
