The marking system which was taking jury instead of written exams

Social life of nift is cool, there are fest in both the session main fest of all nift campuses is held in December whereas the intra campus which is spectrum is held in February. College is equipped with all kind of outdoor games and there is spefic club for that. Also there's is cultural club and social club. Also the library has most of the resources and is opened my till 10 in night

Sports Facilities: Equivalent to Zero, No such sports activities. There was a small ground where we used to play Badminton and Basketball. Besides, the volleyball ground was better. Although the space at the campus was significant to develop the facility of sports no one has taken any initiative.Library Size: Not that Big but amazing collection of BooksLabs: Good Weaving Facilities, Computer Lab facilities, good facilities for various other departments.

Inside Out of NIFT KANGRA

Campus Life:

There is 1:2 boys to girls ratio in our college. The no. Of girls is higher than nom of boys in the college. Our college has different clubs like cultural, sports, literary, photograohy and environmental. Each club has its own memebers and an executive council for the club's working. Also a president, secretary and general adivisor which are elected by the voting of the members of the club only.

My journey with NIFT

Campus Life:

there are some events that are held in the college in the name of extra curricular activities. Some festivals are also celebrated in the institute which are lovely to be a part of. The institute has space for the sports enthusiast line the basketball court volleyball cricket ground etc. We travel to different NIFT centres for the fests sometimes.

Programs such as Fashion walk, Craft designing, Weaving, Knitting, Photography exhibitions, Literacy fests, Food Fest, Pottery, Music and dance competition are held in our college so that the student can showcase their talents. Sports activities such as football, basketball, badminton, wrestling are also conducted by the college council. We are also taken to trekking and field trips in the beautiful valley of Himachal Pradesh.
