Biswanath College Sonitpur Scholarship 2025

hello collegedunia !! I'm currently studying in Biswanath College . So , I'm a student of Bachaelor of Computer Science & Application 1st sem . this a 3 year course and 6 sem . For the admission of 1st sem students , I had to pay rs 10,000 . and for the rest of the sem , I'll have pay rs 8000 per sem . and rs 3000 for the registration each sem before the sem final exam . As I'm a 1st sem student , so I don't know whether the fees is increasing or not but when I asked my seniors , they answered ' NO ' . no extra fees will be taken as the second point asked me . Everbody will have to pay the same amount here caste , parents job or not , income certificate etc. doesn't matter . For different courses , there will be different criteria of admission in our college . For commerce students , it's 8000 per year and for BA & B.Sc students it varies because BCA & B.Com are private course and BA & B.Sc are government courses but the college is government . For B.Sc and BA , you'll have to pay nothing if you have BPL but if your parents does government job or anuall income if 4.5lakh plus , then you'll have to pay rs 200 in your admission . And lastly regarding scholarships or any other schemes for financial support , Assam government launched a scheme called Nijut Moina Asoni where only female UG students could apply and those who have applied , they got the cheque of rs 1250 per month . this was a scheme not a scholarship . Mainly 4 scholarships were available in our college . first is Ishan Uday Scholarship , NSP (ST/OBC) Scholarship , NSP (SC) Scholarship , UGC National Scholarship . Here , only Ishan Uday and UGC are merit based. Course is too expensive so I gave only 2 star

Yearly fees paid. Program wise fees structure is different. B.Com(Hons) fee structure 1st semester 6100 everything Library, festival, hostel etc including admission fee 3rd semester 5500 5th semester also same 5500 admission fee

The fees structure:- First of all, to take admission, the initial admission fees must be deposited around 5k - 10k which is depend on various respective courses. Then the examination form fill-up fees must be deposited around 1k-3k and then yearly admission fees same as initial admission fees. Scholarship:- Mainly there is a most common scholarship called "Ishan Uday" which provides 54k yearly to the student's bank account to promote their further studies and assist in their study expenses.

yes there are scholarship facility like UGC ISHAN UDAY, OBC Scholarship and many more. and if you want to read in arts there are less price comparatively commerce, if commerce have Rs 7000 p/a than arts have only rs 5000. and if you are a BPL Card holder than your admission can be free, but it depends upon your marks also. and their are 5 GS quota also where the general secretary of the Union can give 5 admission completely free, so any one can can contact to thr GS.

The college provides a merit scholarship for those who got a good GPA every semester. The scholarship is given on the basis of the competition of the students. It provides a sum of money of 6000 per student per semester.

There are various scholarahip programs for they new comers. Anyone who wants to take profit can fill the form with his her income proof certificate along with all necessary documents.

There is many scholarship given to eligible students. These are ishan uday scholarship, obc scholarship etc.
