Likes
- The way of teaching design at nid is different from other colleges
- The environment is toxic free all the batches live in a unity
- the facilities like photography room, IT labs workshops are really good for explorations
Dislikes
- The basic amenities like wifi, electricity, water because the college is situated in the outskirts of kurukshetra
- The mess food is edible unlike many other colleges but it still can be alot better
Placement Experience:
From the start if students want they can apply for internships and training in any design related work, and in the 8th semester students are officially asked to do internships for a whole semester and prepare a graduation project.

Likes
- Surrounded by students of excellent calibre due to the strict admission examination
- Exposure to various fields of design through the module system of learning rather than subjects
- Overall freedom given to students- no dress code, no hostel timings, flexible class hours etc.
Dislikes
- Less studio and workshop hours, and valid requests to open such places being denied
- Poor administration structure- for example the placement cell is not of much help to the students
Placement Experience:
There was no solid placement cell in the college until last year. Most of the students find better opportunities in off campus placements. The placement cell provides offers for summer internship and graduation projects, there is no knowledge if the placement cell provides full time job offers.
