NID has opened the DAT 2026 application correction window for B.Des and M.Des applicants until December 4, 2025.

The National Institute of Design has opened the NID DAT 2026 application correction window for B.Des and M.Des candidates. Applicants who filled the form earlier can edit specific details until December 4, 2025, through the official portal.
This correction facility is available after the application deadline ends on December 1, 2025. Candidates must complete their updates before the window closes, as the NID DAT 2026 exam is scheduled on December 21, 2025.
The correction window allows candidates to update key details, review personal information, re-upload documents, and verify their application form before final submission. The edit window is available only once, so applicants must check every detail carefully before saving their changes.
How to Make Corrections in NID DAT 2026 Application Form?
Candidates can follow the steps below to edit their form during the correction window:
- Visit the official NID admissions website.
- Log in using your registered email ID and date of birth.
- Choose one of the available options:
- Application Detail – review information filled during sign-up
- Upload Document – re-upload scanned photo and signature
- Print Application – download the updated application form
- After making changes, click Save to confirm the updates.
The NID DAT 2026 prelims will be held on December 21, 2025, as a paper-and-pencil test. This exam forms the first stage of the selection process for both B.Des and M.Des programmes. Candidates who qualify the prelims will move on to the DAT Mains round, which includes various practical assessments based on the chosen programme.
The B.Des programme has 589 seats across NID Ahmedabad, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Assam, NID Haryana, and NID Madhya Pradesh. The M.Des programme offers 347 seats across NID Ahmedabad, NID Bengaluru, and NID Gandhinagar.
