NIH Kolkata BHMS : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The National Institute of Homeopathy offers a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course for which admission is based on NEET UG scores. Applicants must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, with a reduced requirement of 45% for reserved category students. The faculty, consisting of 23 experienced doctors mainly from government hospitals, is noted for their professionalism and teaching methods, although there is a concern about the shortage of teachers.

The course fee for the 5-year BHMS program at this government institution is Rs. 1,04,450, including an annual tuition fee of Rs. 15,000 and other charges totaling Rs. 17,450, making the total cost approximately Rs. 2 lakhs over five years.
