Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is 5.5 years in which 1 year of a compulsory rotational internship has to be done by each students. We are given advocate prominence in the theoretical part of learning Homeopathic medication system and learning with the practical sessions conducted by the college. The subjects include Homeopathic pharmacy, forensic toxicology and medicine, microbiology including parasiteology and virology, surgery including eye, dental, ENT and homeo therapeutics, the practice of medicine and biochemistry etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

The job roles that were offered to students were pharmacist, public health specialist, private practitioner etc and the employment areas include dispensaries, homeopathic medicine pharmacies/stores, research institutes, hospitals, private consultancies, life science industry, health care community etc. The average annual package which was offered was around 5 LPA. A classmate of mine grabbed an annual package of 15 LPA for the role of Private Practitioner because he was somewhat experienced in this field. Internships in pharmaceuticals industries, NGO's, medical colleges and training institutes were also offered to the students where the average stipend ranges from 10,000 to 15,000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total tuition fees for 1 year is 15,000 and an admission fees of 3000 is to be paid at the start of the semester. Other charges of 17,450 include library fee, club membership fee, exam fee, sport fee, etc. The total for 5 years is around 2 Lakhs. For my point of view, the fees is quite nominal because the college offers various degree courses in health sciences and homeopathy.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who belong to the economically weaker sections are granted a fair amount of fee concession by the college administration. Merit cum scholarships are also awarded to students who have a good rank and score in the NEET-UG examinations. University/College merit scholarships are offered to those students who secure 9/10 CGPA in the college exams.

Campus Life

The sports activities such as football, swimming, basketball, table tennis, kabaddi are held at the college campus from time to time. Annual fest is also organised in our college where a platform is provided to students to showcase their talent in the field of singing, dancing, debate competition, pottery making, face painting, sculpture, English drama etc. Various workshop and conferences on topic like homeopathic medicine and its uses are also held every month so that the students can gain enough knowledge from these kind of sessions.

Admission

The student need to have pass class 12th with 5 subjects that is physics, chemistry, biology and English. He/She should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th and 45% for the students belonging to the reserved category. The student need to qualify the entrance exam called NEET-UG which is conducted by the national testing agency. Based on the scores, a merit list will be prepared and you will be called for a counselling session if you are lucky enough to clear the cut off. There after you will be granted admission in the college.

Faculty

4

The teachers are very knowledgeable and they have a unique set of skills to clear the doubt of the students and explain the complex ideas very easily using the logical reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of different solutions. The guest faculty also covers topics such as biochemistry, human anatomy, physiology, community medicine so that the students efficiently learn and later become a part of multidisciplinary health care system.

Course Curriculum Overview:

h The course curriculum was on the key factory the influenced by decision to join this program it of her strong foundation core subject will also including activity emerging are which elegant with my career interest to curriculum was mandatory compassion balancing theory with practice through labs and mini projects however its relevance to Delaware adapts and could be improved so subject hold outs dated on leak industry integration technique methods were mostly lecture based and belief in protein more quasi and oxygen projectivity is learning outcomes Around 10 to 15 percent of students typically struggle to clear an odd two subjects especially in the second year The making scheme followed in 50s to 50 split between internal and external assignments which helps balance performance over all the curriculum leads Solid Academy foundation but need modernization to better prefer students for enabling industry demand and higher study

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
