best government medical college

the college do have everything in positive aspects seeking from the teaching of the college and the internships they provide to the students and the labs and may other things the college is full of positive vibe. the only negative remark about the college is the infrastructure of the college.

the college is affiliated to the AYUSH scheme of the central government so the course curriculum we follow is according to the AYUSH guidelines and schemes. as it is a government college we have to follow their rules and guidelines only. the exams are conducted on the semester basis which is after every 6 months.

the college do provide placements in several medical companies but the placement cell is not that active and appropriate. but yes the college do provides us with the internships in the college. we also got paid for the internships almost around 25000 per month. the internships are usually in the govt. hospitals and we gain lot of experience from that.

the fees of the program are very less and are easily feasible. the fees of the program are around 6600 for the whole year as the college is a govt college which I think is the best part of the college. for the whole 5 years, it sums up to 35000. which I got covered in my internships.

the college do provide the scholarships to the scholars of the particular subject and field. the college dont have any kind of loan facility in it because the fees was actually very less and even the poor can also afford it very easily. but yes the government of west bengal provide some sort of financial assistance to the students.

for the admissions in the college you have to apply for the NEET UG examination which a national level entrance examination which is conducted for the students of medical streams. after clearing the exam who have to fill the priority of the college according to your rank. i chose for this college. then you will be called for counselling in the college and the admissions is taken in the college after the payment of the fees.

there are several old and experienced teachers in the college who are already serving as the govt. doctors or served as a govt. doctor previously the teachers are really good in their experiences and their knowledge about any particular subject is very good and unwatchable.
