IIPE Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am so interested in chemical engineering since my intermediate. I know that it is not only chemistry but a mixture of maths physics and chemistry. The faculty and student ratio is healthy i.e there are around 20 faculty members for 100 students. Faculty should be having a specific qualification in their desired field with Ph.D. Exams were on a scale of moderate to difficult and term exams were conducted with a healthy gap in between.

From the 7th semester, students will be eligible for the campus placements and this year our senior's placement rate is 100% with an average package of 9LPA our college got nearly 40 companies and we can get to that job if you want.

From the 5th semester, students can get internship opportunities from companies like Adobe, SG Analytics, Saint Gobain etc... Highest package ONGC - 20Lpa Average package - 9.4 Lpa(Till date) Percentage Placement - 70%+ After Graduation, I would like to go for a job.

Chemical engineering is the study of techniques that lead to greater yield with maintaining sustainability. I choose this course cause, I'm interested in thermodynamic and transfer phenomena topics. Teaching is good, and teachers are very available.

Course curriculum, Academics and faculty are top notch. The reason for saying it is the bright minds of nation are held in our college, where they constantly revise all parts of academics for constant improvisation and focussing on being top notch in industry.

The students are eligible from the seventh semester. The placement scenario is fine. It is better than IITs in our department. As this college only provides chemical and petroleum engineering. So, We can't expect the placement as CSEs of top NITS and IITs. Nearly all oil PSUs visit our college. They take about 10% of students whereas Some private companies like Schlumberger, TCS, Adani gas, L and T, SHELL, Coromandel, Aurobindo, Some startups, etc. takes 70% of students. So, 60% of students get placed on campus after ending of the course. Rest 40% seeks higher education, MBA, etc. My plan is to get placed in a decent company.

It is as par with iit and iim?Ûªs, it is India?Ûªs top leading premier institute of industry experts from across the country and though it had started a few years ago, it is acquainted with world class facilities, diversified students and surrounded by bright students of nation.

The first batch of this college completed their course in 2020. Due to the covid situation, placement was average. But as it has got every tag that an IIT hold so there is no hesitation about placement in the further year. It is also mentored by giant oil companies like HPCL, ONGC, IOCL, OIL,etc.

Like other B.Tech degrees, we became eligible for placement from 7 semesters. The first placement was nice as per a newly established college. IIPE has director and CEOs of major oil giants like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, GAIL, etc as it's BOARD MEMBERS! You certainly need not worry about links in the industry. One other important factor for placements is the location. Visakhapatnam is the most suitable place for the oil industry. There are refineries of PSUs like HPCL. Vizag comes under the Krishna-Godavari basin which enhances its industries even more.
