Likes

There are scholarships available for students based on their merits.
College staff was there available when we need any help regarding admission .
The faculty members are great at their work, and create a very friendly environment.

Dislikes

Poor Elevator facility. And confusing infrastructure
The college is located a little far from mainland Mumbai, making it difficult for students living in Central and Western side to travel on a daily basis.
At the college was affiliated to Mumbai university so things were disorganized

Academics is very tough as compared to other institute.

Covering all aspects of College Life

Likes

The behaviour of college staff is really commendable.
Teaching style of staff including a two way interaction and split classroom concept.
Events on regular basis helps in social interaction.

Dislikes

We get to know about the timetable for the day 15 min before the lecture starts, causing inconvenience to students covering a long distance to reach.
Priority to 1-2 sports only, not all sports get equal attention and a seperate coach.

Placement Experience:

As im currently in 3 semester and campus place generally starts after 4 semester so i dont have much idea about how it is done our what is the exact process for placements but i have talked to some of my seniors who experienced this, they always say nice things about placements.

The overview of Pillai College.

Likes

The campus is big and makes us feel exciting.
We have many extra curriculum activities to take part in.
We get to meet a lot of culture people and make friends.

Dislikes

The classroom feels bad. It has old benches.
The A/C doesn’t work many times and doesn’t get repaired

Placement Experience:

From our 5th semester we are eligible to go for placement as this is our last year. And many companies have visited us like Deloitte, Godrej, Wipro and many more. I heard that an engineering student got an offer from a company of 32LPA. And the least is around 3 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have done my 12th in medical field, but I always had keen interested in Commerce, hence I decided to switch to Commerce and took BMS, because I had a subject called Entrepreneurship, and i was really interested in learning it more deeply, and BMS helped me to learn the same.

Events like there are a lot of events and many communities

Placement Experience:

In 6th semister students are eligible for placements and it's very tough to get a placement you might have to struggle at first and need to work hard for it, there are many companies feeling to offer campus placement.

The main thing I liked was all the fest that were held in the college , it was memorable
the teachers in the colleges are very good and friendly which made studies more interesting
the classrooms were quite big and with AC

The course that i selected was Bms and in that I selected my main department as finance . so If someone who is good with numbers and maths should take finance as you will be having all the subjects related to finance . teachers out there were very helpful n was making us understand all the tears very easily as finance itself is vasta nd complicated but tecahers made easy for us to learn that field

There are various ways to learn new skills though certificate courses and etc
College gives many opportunities to showcase your talent in front of many.

Dislikes

The semester length was a bit short. That made mid sem and semester exam frequent.
Bba is in afternoon shift. Which may not be suitable for many students.

The overall curriculum had diverse subjects that helped students to gain knowledge and skills from different areas. There were both practical as well as theoretical subjects. The frequency of exams were often and were easy to crack if studied well and in depth.

Exploring excellence with PCACS

Likes

Campus. The campus overall is good and bba classrooms have good infrastructure
Curriculum. The curriculum is relevant to the degree
Teachers. The educators are immense with knowledge

The course curriculum is highly relevant. The harvard business school online degree has made me choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well for the real world applications. The frequency of core subject examination is every semester - Countinous Assesment(CA1) ( written exam) , CA2 includes projects and final semester written exam. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate

A ride in pillai college

Likes

Canteen provided good and hygienic food to the students
Library gives a good environment to study and focus

Dislikes

The college tends to unnecessarily strict in some matters

Placement Experience:

On average 80% of the students get placement through the college where the average package is around 300000. Recently a famous company called flipping burgers had approached the students for placement in college with a package of 250000. Personally I plan to pursue MBA after my degree

I really like the overall Campus and vibe it gives is relaxing
The events and fest such as- Alegria is what attracts and loved by students
The Faculty of our college is actually quite appreciative
