Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well connected to the actual industry and industrial practices which helps in understanding the industry very well helping us to understand what will be needed of us at a job. Exams are prepared fairly, neither too tough nor too easy

Internships Opportunities

For internship companies like reliance, tata and Swiss bank approach the students with a stipend of 10000 offering the roles of human resource mangers and marketing. Internship is often praised as good in our college providing a large diversity of choices

Placement Experience

On average 80% of the students get placement through the college where the average package is around 300000. Recently a famous company called flipping burgers had approached the students for placement in college with a package of 250000. Personally I plan to pursue MBA after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a hike in tuition fee by 1500 to 2000 by every year so the total cost of the course comes to 105000. The college also provides scholarship facilities which are backed by the government. Campus also provides internship and placement where 10000 stipend is given and in jobs a package of around 300000 is given

Campus Life

The college hosts one fest every year called allegria other than that is hosts various sports based activities. The college also has a library facility which has a vast array of books. The gym and ground helps to keep the students fit. There are many clubs and commitees in college for the students to take part in

Admission

The admission process was smooth and the college staff was very friendly in terms of helping out the students. the form was present in college available only through offline means. All the forms and details were present in the college admission office. Reservation is available to minorities. Exams are conducted in timely manner. I hope they switch the form from offline to online for better accessibility

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

A perfect blend of learning and industry exposure.

Likes

The faculty is extremely experienced and provides valuable industry perspective.
The campus is modern and equipped with smart classrooms, media, labs, studios and an excellent library.
The placement cell is very helpful and active, getting students placed with firm.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good so providing variety in food.
sometimes coordination between department can be smoother.

Best College with Loving Memories

Admission:

The admission process is easy in my college. Students do not have to appear for any Entrance examination. For Taking admission in B.M.S course, students should get minimum45% marks and reserved category students should get 40% marks in Xll Standard.

Review for Pillai college of arts, commerce and science

I applied for SIES college of Navi Mumbai and also I got confirmation of admission in this college in 5th round but already in 3rd round my name came in pillai college. So I took pillai college and also it is near to me for travelling as compared to SIES college. Admission process is first of all we have to fill Mumbai University form online then we have to fill personal college form for selection of the course and the college form charge is 200rs, after the submission of form we have to wait for 1st,2nd,3rd list, their are only 3 list but in that also your name is not mentioned then you will get admission by donation. Also cut off for my course is 63%. And no other entrance exam we have to give. Admission process is good....Read More

Pillai College : "A VIBRANT HUB OF LEARNING AND ACTIVITIES"

For the candidate to be eligible for pursuing a BSc computer science degree from PCACS needs to have passed 12th with mathematics as one of the subjects in their HSC and should have secured above 60% in their HSC exam. Application forms have to be collected from the college office and while submitting the application form candidate have to submit their documents that are specified by the college, no application fees is there and we have to collect the application forms when the admission dates are released on PCACS official website and have to submit before the date given for form submission and wait for the merit list to be released and then the admission fees paying process starts.
