Likes

The behaviour of college staff is really commendable.
Teaching style of staff including a two way interaction and split classroom concept.
Events on regular basis helps in social interaction.

Dislikes

We get to know about the timetable for the day 15 min before the lecture starts, causing inconvenience to students covering a long distance to reach.
Priority to 1-2 sports only, not all sports get equal attention and a seperate coach.

The courses that our college is offering have a great relevance and comprehensiveness as i have chosen BMS, im having a great time learning this course as this course does not only provide us with the fundamentals as foundations but also it increases the extra knowledge in terms of ability enhancement courses and skill development courses.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides us with many internship programs on a frequent basis and also encourages us to do it as it will help us when we will be stepping into the corporate world as things will be working very much differently outside.

Placement Experience

As im currently in 3 semester and campus place generally starts after 4 semester so i dont have much idea about how it is done our what is the exact process for placements but i have talked to some of my seniors who experienced this, they always say nice things about placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees for bachelor of Management Studies 2024 is 45000 considering all the charges, tution fees - 30000, skill development - 2500, Uniform -3900, and Examination fees - 3300. And for 2023 is 40530,tution fees - 27990, Skill Development - 2500, Viva - 1000, Examination fees - 3300.

Campus Life

The first event is yaarian which is usually held at the start of the semester, the second is friendship week where for the whole week everybody has to dress according to a particular dress code and the major event is Alegria where every year a new celebrity comes in the event and tickets for Alegria is sold for the same.

Admission

As i have visited to many colleges after my 12 result had been declared and from my place i have to choose between SIES Nerul and Pillai College Panvel and i went for this college because as soon as i visited SIES college, the thing which i have not liked is their infrastructure and their curriculum being not relevant with their course.

Faculty

The student and faculty relationship is amazing, whenever we have any problem or difficulties in any academics as well as any practical aspect they are available for us and we also feel very much comfortable approching them, Faculty I like is my Human Resource Management Professor - Ms. Ruchika Bassi ma'am, the way she guides us and helps us throughout the year is very much appreciable.

Dislikes

There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

A perfect blend of learning and industry exposure.

Likes

The faculty is extremely experienced and provides valuable industry perspective.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good so providing variety in food.

Best College with Loving Memories

Admission:

The admission process is easy in my college. Students do not have to appear for any Entrance examination. For Taking admission in B.M.S course, students should get minimum45% marks and reserved category students should get 40% marks in Xll Standard.

Review for Pillai college of arts, commerce and science

I applied for SIES college of Navi Mumbai and also I got confirmation of admission in this college in 5th round but already in 3rd round my name came in pillai college. So I took pillai college and also it is near to me for travelling as compared to SIES college. Admission process is first of all we have to fill Mumbai University form online then we have to fill personal college form for selection of the course and the college form charge is 200rs, after the submission of form we have to wait for 1st,2nd,3rd list, their are only 3 list but in that also your name is not mentioned then you will get admission by donation. Also cut off for my course is 63%. And no other entrance exam we have to give. Admission process is good....Read More

Pillai College : "A VIBRANT HUB OF LEARNING AND ACTIVITIES"

For the candidate to be eligible for pursuing a BSc computer science degree from PCACS needs to have passed 12th with mathematics as one of the subjects in their HSC and should have secured above 60% in their HSC exam. Application forms have to be collected from the college office and while submitting the application form candidate have to submit their documents that are specified by the college, no application fees is there and we have to collect the application forms when the admission dates are released on PCACS official website and have to submit before the date given for form submission and wait for the merit list to be released and then the admission fees paying process starts.
