The admission is on the basis of the national entrance test taken by the NIFT all of the country. If you clear the examination you can get admission in the institution. The first step is filling of the application form.

Admission process to join NIFT is a candidate should have completed plus 2 and cleared GAT and CAT and NIFT entrance exam. On successful completion of the exams students are supposed to come to the campus with original certificates for validation. A group discussion will be conducted. After evaluation, the candidates will be admitted into the institution.

NIFT grants admission to the students applying to any of its campuses all over India through a written entrance exam called the Situation Test. It is a basic aptitude test which tests the general knowledge of the students. Admissions are granted on the scores of this test.

I gave the NIFT Entrance Test. It is divided into two parts. The first test has CAT (Creative Ability Test) which has 3-4 topics you have to design on and visually present it using dry mediums only and GAT (General Ability Test) which has questions in English, Math and logical reasoning.
