I like the things about my college that is we have freedom to work on any interest of area.The facilities make sure that students should be ready to crash industry at any time,they prepare us like that.

Dislikes

Things I hate about my college that is we have to spend alot money on our stationeries and sourcing materials.

Admission:

I choose NIFT cuz NIFT it self is a Trendsetter! First thing first NIFT comes under Top 3 Design college in india also it's Government College.The addmission process is little lengthy but if u make it into NIFT then this all is worth it believe me ....

NIFT SHILLONG IS THE BEST

Likes

At a very nice place, the weather, the mountains, the area.
The faculty is so much educated and experienced, their teaching methods is good.
The infrastructure is so beautiful 😍 and their is a social interaction with others.

Dislikes

I dislike that sometime the college is very far
There is a language barrier sometimes with people.

Admission:

NIFT shillong is one of the best college in graphic design. It gives us many opportunities and compared to any other college, it still holds a strong position in the technical area. I never got any rejection from other colleges infact I got admission in SID PUNE.

A Fashionable Dream

Likes

The faculties are very nice and curriculum are fun and learning at the same time you will enjoy each and every day
The campus life is so good the environment the seniors every one are friendly
The is no ragging in the campus people are very nice and polite to each other every day is a fun day here

Dislikes

The campus is very far away from the main city you really need to struggle to reach there
There are very less shops nearby the campus

For the admission you need to give and Entrance Exam. The Exams are held every year and registration starts during November to December. You will find the registration link on the NIFT official website. There are reservations benefits and home domicile options. The exam are held on All India Level and these exams are taken into two levels that is CAT and GAT whereas CAT is creative ability test and GAT is general ability.

Eligibility: for UG courses: 10+ 2 cleared examination from Board( CBSE/ ICSE) For post graduate you require a a graduate degreee from (college / university). Application form: Nift official website Application fees: 3000 for general/ 1500 ( not confirm) for reservation section{ this may vary, I paid 3000 for my form) Application Dates: Forms release during October and November. allotment process is online and exams happens after Feb 20th

Internships At NIFT

Admission:

Nift is the best and topmost college in India. Nift Shillong ranks 3th last on the top nift campuses. The teaching staff is amazing with the best-qualified faculties. The environment is very inspiring and beautiful but it is away from the main city so it is isolated. You can apply for nift Delhi placements from Shillong as well hence it is the best college. Right now it is online thus the quality has decreased and in this, they have increased the fee which looks worthless but I am hoping that the college will open soon and everything will be normal.

Admission in NIFT for any campus is based an entrance test. It depends on if it is a bachelors or masters course. I had to give entrance exam of CAT and GAT followed by a situation test for my course of accessory design.
