The area of the campus is big. There is a lot of greenery in the campus. The campus is very well arranged in 260 acres. The security staff is very good. There is a lack of shopping malls and everything else in the campus.
The average package here is around 6-7 lakhs. The package is a little less but the growth is quite good
The teachers are very good. The classes are proper. The teachers are very friendly.

Dislikes

The average package is very low. Percentage placed is very low
The lab teacher is very strict. The rules are very strict
There is a lot of sunshine in the campus. Veg food is not very good.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement here can be a little disappointing however it is getting better days by days. The major hindrance is the location factor but th Tnp cell work very hard to bring companies and to provide students with equal opportunity. CSE has an average placement followed by ECE . In core branch most of the people go for exam like GATE, ESE or State PSUs exam or any higher study however some people also get placed on campus in PSI like olu , electricity boards and all

Campus area of this college is very beautiful, this college has 250+ acres lush green campus.
Infrastructure of college is very good it can even good from some nits/iits
Every kind of sports facility is available here from swimming pool to lawn tennis court.

Dislikes

Food quality is the matter of concern for people came across different states

TU a place to make dreams come true

Tezpur University, a place which makes dreams come true. Itis a place filled with joy, excitement, love , enthusiasm and knowledge.

Dislikes

The university overall is a wonderful place but there are always place for improvement.

Placement Experience:

The university provides placement for all the departments be it private companies or pwd. The highest package ranges from 11-15 lpa and the average is 4 to 5 lpa. The placement also depends on the students academic qualification and overall performance.

Tezpur University review at the end of 3 years B. Tech degree

Likes

Overall academic life is good. Teachers are intereactive.
You will get opportunity to enhance your skills.
Extracurricular activities are encouraged.

Dislikes

Placement scenario is not that good. It can do better.
More practical real life challenges need to be introduced rather than just theoretical knowledge.
Lack of competitive environment. But still it is improving.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem onwards. Many companies like L&T, Bharat Electronics, Amul, Infosys, etc visits. Percentage of students getting placed varies department to department average you can consider 30-40% both on campus and off campus. My plan is basically to get placed after degree.

Tezpur University

Likes

Infrastructure and the campus was good. Hostels were clean and spacious. The management looked into the students needs and the faculty were knowledgeable.
Annual fest was very nicely arranged and plenty of competition among hostels
Faculty were good. The playground were nicely managed.

Dislikes

The mess food was subpar and suggestions were not taken into account.
Limited wifi connectivity. The wifi speed was also very slow.
Monkeys in the campus were a nuisance. Really bothersome.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements were adequate and for my branch quite less, 50% of the batch remained unplaced. From 7th semester, we were allowed to sit for placements. Highest package was 5.5LPA and lowest was 2.8 LPA. I was fortunate to be placed.

I like the campus of Tezpur University and it’s infrastructure. It is a very nice place to study with greenery and everything is easily available in the campus itself and the university is very clean and maintains its campus beauty very well.
The hostel are also very good of Tezpur University. The hostels provide 3 time meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. That too in a very minimal fees i.e. 2450 per month. The hostel has its own canteen also where we can have our evening snacks.
The hostels are located such that the students can reach their classes on foot in 10 min or less . The University also provides bus facilities to travel to the market for shopping and chilling. The bus is free of cost i.e. taken in the admission fees

Dislikes

The thing that I dislike the most is that the University is very far from the main town and we have to cross a village before reaching the University i.e. 11km(approx) from main town and there is no proper rate of fare to the University it depends 🕰
The food that is provided in the mess of the hostel are very good but sometimes it is very bland or very salty or sometimes it will be the the same food for straight 3-4 days which is actually boring.
Before we used to play late night but now the new VC has made some rules that we cannot play or rome outside our hostels after 9:30 pm which is one of the things I dislike because we don’t get time to play in day time due classes.

Placement Experience:

The students are able to sit for placements from the 6th sem itself Copany like Amul, Dabar, Nestle,etc had visited and had give many offers The highest package is around 24 lpa and average package is 6 lpa 80% students gets placements Getting a job

TEZPUR UNIVERSITY

Likes

The environmental spitting eyeshadow surrounding is beautiful the roads are clean there is greenery all around
The classes are held properly not much of the classes are cancelled and are held on time
Pratiksha is here are qualified they all come from IIT and other big institutes so we can trust on them to give the good education we need

Dislikes

The teachers day take a lot of extra classes you are so it very hard for a students to give time to themselves and prepared your own skills
The gym is very small and does not many people can accommodate in the university gym

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies are Infosys and Wipro come to give placements. Highest and average placement for company with iOS have gone 3600000 and average is 5 lakh. Percentage of students getting placement is almost 80%

I like the campus the campus is very clean
The hostels are really well maintained and food is decently good.
Here mostly the teachers are PhD holders from iits and the placement scenario is decent

Dislikes

The university has too many classes so the students cannot find interest in other activities
Exams are hell almost every other month so we do not get any time to prepare
The hostel food is decent but not up to the mark for the amount we pay

Placement Experience:

Here are the placement scenario is pretty decent. Computer Science and Electronics department has got some gud placement around average package of 6-8 lakhs and rest core branches has packages around 4-5 lakhs.

Tezpur University Good and Bad

Likes

I like the environment, it is beautiful here, roads are clean,
Classes are help properly , even teachers take lots of extra classes
Hostels are okish, food is decent enough

Dislikes

Too many classes, students can't have their own time
Mess food is decent, but could be better given the amount of money students pay
University surrounding is purely village, nothing outside, it is boring

Course Curriculum Overview:

The mechanical engineering in teach previous good placement in oil the curriculum prepares me for your application by giving us test almost every month giving us assignments to prepare for us giving us real based life questions. The course curriculum can improve by not taking to many many classes as we can then give time to hours us and for our other activities

The environment is quite satisfactory. One can have a better college lifestyle.
The faculty is very active during working hours.

Placement Experience:

The ROI of this university is quite good. But the percentage of students getting placed is a bit low. As very few companies visit due to its location and as a result only 60 percent of the students get placed.
