Deccan College of Engineering and Technology Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum is very good and the faculty members Are also good but they have to take good care of students more than now the qualification of every faculty is mtech and higher studies

I choose these course because iam very much interested in computers science and new softwares .the faculty in the college is very good and experienced and well qualified and skillful.the student ratio in the college is 1:40 the teaching methods of the faculty are very good.b.tech is a four year full time course with 8 semesters per year there will be 2 seaters.per semesters there will be two mid exams which are very easy to pass.

Actually in telangana all the engineering colleges which are affilated to Osmania University .Are eligible to for the campus placements in the third year only.the companies visited are infosys , microsoft , zetatek , mahindra satyam,wipro .IN 2020 about 125+ offers were made . the highest package was 10.6 lakhs per annum by microsoft.and the average was 4.1 lakhs per annum. 35% of students are getting placements in overall couses.my plan is like if i get a placement in third year only its ok or else i ll fly for Masters in best university of UK or Canada.

The course curriculum is of Two years with 2 semesters each year. M.tech is a very good course if you want to increase your knowledge in technology even more. I chose this course because I am very interested in Computer Technology and I think there is no other course like M.tech which has every concept in detail. The faculty at deccan is excellent in teaching. They have many years of experience. The lecturers use easy methods to teach so that concepts can be remembered. The mid term exams were in November and march every year.

From 3-2, students get eligible to sit in the interviews for getting placed. Companies visit our campus for placements. The placement cell assists the final year students in preparing a professional resume, giving training for group discussion, and conducting mock interviews to develop confidence in students. Our seniors got placed in companies like Microsoft, Infosys, and Zetatek, etc. About 65% of students get placed each year. My plan is to look at placements after 3-1.

There have been issues of campus placement in this college only limited branches get the opportunity to take part in the placement. After 3 years of engineering, the college allows to take part in placements the companies visit very often like Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys and zetatek etc. The candidates should get above 75 percentage of the respective course. I want to be work in a power plant.

We have companies like Amazon, Zetatek and Infosys offering placements in our college. The highest package that has been received was 15 lakh pa with the average being 6-7 lakh pa. The students are eligible for campus placements during their 7th semester or the first semester of their fourth/final year. Most students opt for other modes of placements like visiting and interviewing with the companies that do not visit or offer placements in our college but 40-60 percent of students get placed. My plan after I get my degree is to pursue Masters abroad or in India. Whatever favours my luck.

From the 6th semester which is 3rd year of engineering, the placement starts for all the students. The test is conducted by the companies and students who qualify the tests will be eligible to sit in an interview for placements and based on your marks, skills and interview you Will be selected. Companies like Wipro, Mahindra, infotech, Tech Mahindra etc visits every year in college for placements. The highest package was 2L in the IT field which was offered. The students above 75% will be eligible for getting placements. After getting a degree my aim is to find a good job and try to complete my MTech.

There are not many factors that made me join this college. As I got a rank of 35,000 in EAMCET I have choosen this college.And even my brother was a alumni of this college.So he too helped me in the selection of the college.So after joining I am satisfied.The faculty is good, the course is good,the curriculum is good.Another main factor that made me choose this college is the transport facility provided.My home is located 10 km away from the college.The college provides us college bus or we can even opt for tsrtc which is a good thing.

The campus is in the heart of the city at Nampally. The college occupies an area of 66,070 sq ft built-in area with adjacent open space of approximate with large area for further expansion. It also houses the Deccan School of Management affiliated to Osmania University in Hyderabad.
