Remarks

The eligibility criteria of the course is students have to passed the ssc and intermediate with the minimum 45%marks.maths , physics and chemistry subject is compulsory in intermediate to apply in b. tech .you have to pass the exam with 40 percent marks .to apply for the Eamcet test we have to go on the official website and you have to pay the application fee of 750 rupees.there will be reservation for sc,st and minorities students.the admission process is very easy.

I choose these course because iam very much interested in computers science and new softwares .the faculty in the college is very good and experienced and well qualified and skillful.the student ratio in the college is 1:40 the teaching methods of the faculty are very good.b.tech is a four year full time course with 8 semesters per year there will be 2 seaters.per semesters there will be two mid exams which are very easy to pass.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for b.tech (computer science )in deccan college of engineering and technology per year is 35000 rupees .there will be some other fees like lab fee and examination fee and library fee you need to pay separately.also there is a scholarship opportunity for sc,st and minorities students from the state government.to apply for the scholarship you have to go to epass website and fill in all the necessary details.sanction of the scholarship depends upon eligibility criteria keep all the required documents ready as you will need to upload them for verification.there are no jobs in campus.

Campus Life

The college has a big campus with excellent infrastructure.the classroom are very good seating facilities.many fests and cultural programs happen in the college .the college library has all the books needed for preparation any time.there is a playground for sports and other extracurricular activities.the college website regularly updates important academic information.the canteen offers very hygenic food with affordable prices.there is whatsapp group in which regular updates are posted by the lecturers.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

My College

There were 2 other colleges i applied to 1.Lords 2.MJ and i got confirmed admission from Lords college, but i choosed this college because this college is populer for engineering and it was near to my house. I got rejected from MJ college due to its higher cutoff marks. The admissin will be done through counselling and management. Students prefer EMCET exam and it is elidible for B.E course.
