Likith's Review On Deccan College Of Engineering And Technology - [DCET], Hyderabad

There are not many factors that made me join this college. As I got a rank of 35,000 in EAMCET I have choosen this college.And even my brother was a alumni of this college.So he too helped me in the selection of the college.So after joining I am satisfied.The faculty is good, the course is good,the curriculum is good.Another main factor that made me choose this college is the transport facility provided.My home is located 10 km away from the college.The college provides us college bus or we can even opt for tsrtc which is a good thing.

Doing mechanical engineering was my dream from my child hood. As I have done much research on course I came to know the mechanical engineering is the best course. The curriculum is also well divided for 4 years. The faculty is also good. As I said my brother is a alumni of that college every lectures remembers me on account of my brother.The best faculty I came across in my first year was Mr jalapathi who taught chemistry in our first year. He is humble jovial and responsible and shows passion towards his work.

The placement opportunities of our college are not so good. No good company arrives our college except the computer related companies which hurts me a lot. We have to go to the headquarters of the most reputed companies and seek a job from them.Overall when I look into the statistics of the placements, about 70 percent of graduates from the college are placed In good companies.

The campus infrastructure is good.We are provided with a library where all types of theoritical books are available.Apart from it we have weekly magazines and journals available free of cost in our college.Coming to extracurricular activities they are average. No one in our college shows intrest in these activities. And coming to sports,they will be excellent if the seniors don't dominate juniors.
