- The faculty of the mechanical department was experienced ones and they used help us with their notes to score good marks and the way of teaching in classes is also good enough.The remaining things which aren't with urselfs woild be their in Library.
Dislikes
- Their are no activities of sports and all which may be a concern for the ones who are so close to physical activities and no ambience of indoor sports too and there are no events which can boost the mond of students to not only love the college
Course Curriculum Overview:
The thing i loved about mechanical engineering was its vast varieties as when we finally have done with our mechanica engineering then it could be not only helpful for in mechanical field but also we could switch our feilds in such as automobile, aeronautical etc

- The faculty of the college is quite good
- The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
- There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
- No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
- Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude
Placement Experience:
Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

- The first thing i liked about this colleges is the faculty who are very well experienced individuals with high level degrees
- The second thing i liked about this college is the open gate facility where the student can leave when they please
- The third thing i like is that there is no ragging on campus as it has serious repercussions
Dislikes
- The thing is dislike is hygiene which lacks in the washrooms
- The thing is dislike is the classrooms which are very outdated and the labs as well.
- The final thing i dislike is the absence of a canteen which would be very helpful if it was there to atleast get some water or small snacks
Placement Experience:
The placements are not that great as the average placement in our college is around 5 to 6 lacs per annum and the highest package was for about 24lacs and most of the students apply for a masters just after their bachelor's .My plan is to pursue an MBA for my passion in Management.

- The staff is not much experienced and their English is bad
- The cleanliness is not maintained in the college
- The management team does not care for students
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is good by university and by the college it is not much better experience to see it. The university is giving the best support to the students and their aim is to prepare the best engineers possible

- I like the faculty of the DCET, they teach you in a better manner unless and until you understand.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the college infrastructure, and no sports and cultural activities too ..
Placement Experience:
8th semester students will be eligible for placements. I got selected in org engineering pvt ltd in Kolkata with an offer of 3.6 lpa.we didn't get any campanies for our college.only few campanies visited the college

- They dont really care whether you come to college or not theres no 75% must attendance needed to get promoted to the next sem
- Everyone are friendly and speak really well to you
- They are alot of place you can visit during off college hours they are good eating spots around the college
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is bad feels like im in a haunted house
- From where i live the college is really far takes about an hour just to reach college which makes me really tired
- They just want alot of money fron you all the tine so they'll make ways to get money from you
Course Curriculum Overview:
Informations technology is booming in hyderabad specialy with so many multinational It sectors in hitech city gachibowli side and personally since childhood i was always curious about computers about their hardware and software this course has really helped me to learn about them in depth and was quite an eye opener to bo honest i can always go abroad for higher studies and in expectations of better salary packages

- This College has an excellent well experienced faculty they really helped in my studies, they focused on individuals for there improvement which was the best in this college.
- I liked the environment inside the college it has a big ground for sports and an newspaper editors office inside the college which helped me to gain knowledge about current affairs
- Deccan college of engineering was affiliated to Osmania University which was the best thing because there are very less college's which are affiliated to Osmania University and the standard a bit different from other JNTU related colleges.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college was too old, even though it has 6 floors the building needs a renovation , it doesn't have a good appearance
- The main problem is the location of this college it is located in the centre of the city filled with traffic and pollution sounds and the worst part is there are no hostels near that area.
- Even though Deccan college had a great faculty it did lacked the placements part because we didn't have proper placements even if we had they were below 3lpa which was a big red flag.
Placement Experience:
From 4th year(final year) students became eligible for interviews and started attending them
Highest package in Deccan engineering and technology College was 3LPA and all small companies with no proper salaries were invited to this college
The percentage of students getting placements are very low like 5% of the total institutions
My plans were to prepare for government jobs but now i recently applied for mtech.

- I like the staff behaviour and support towards the students
- The management is very well to onboard the students during admission process
- College also engage students in extracurricular activities like sports, internships, workshops, industry readiness programs
Dislikes
- There is no such thing to dislike about college
- But i want to mention that college should implement outdoor sports games and activities
- One more thing to replace labs I think in software course labs should be renovated with new computers and required software, need to improve interior infrastructure
Placement Experience:
When coming to the last semester students are eligible for the placement. This college provides on campus placement with good mnc companies and startup companies as well there many companies visited like tcs,wipro,tech Mahindra etc with an average package of 3-4 LPA. The placement rate is 70-80 %. My plan is to Crack a high paying job in IT industry

- They should improve on labs and focus more on practicals teaching
- To cheer more on extra curricular activities such as sports and events.
- Assit students on their revision patter.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd sem eligible for placement.an average of 65 percentage can get placements.they are mnc's are wipro infosys etcand my plan to get a job before graduation.tge highest package is 16lpa and average is 3lpa

- i liked the support which college faculty provide to students
- i liked the principals behavior like she is more concerned towards the development of college and students
- i liked the facilities provided for sports in our college
Dislikes
- things i dislike about my college is we dont have cateen in our college
- we cant play outdoor GAMES IN COLLEGE eventhough we have ground
- and the last thing i dint like about my college is they dont organise any open for all fest for fun and entertainment
Placement Experience:
in Deccan College of engineering and Technology, we have a training and placement cell which is lead by Dr. syeda kausar fatima and we have good placements here of 400000 LPA on average and students are also placed in Amazon and etc from college.
