What Students Say

Likes

The faculty of the mechanical department was experienced ones and they used help us with their notes to score good marks and the way of teaching in classes is also good enough.The remaining things which aren't with urselfs woild be their in Library.

Dislikes

Their are no activities of sports and all which may be a concern for the ones who are so close to physical activities and no ambience of indoor sports too and there are no events which can boost the mond of students to not only love the college

Course Curriculum Overview

The thing i loved about mechanical engineering was its vast varieties as when we finally have done with our mechanica engineering then it could be not only helpful for in mechanical field but also we could switch our feilds in such as automobile, aeronautical etc

Yearly fee structure wqs 70,000/- rupees per year Tution fee was 5,000/- rupees per year The financial available scholarships are like 1 st year 3000/- 2 nd year 4200/- 3 rd year 6000/- 4 th year 7200)-

Campus Life

As of when i was in the beginning of my engineering i haven't seen such activities called clubs and all but i used to observe those or such activities in my friends college it would be a drawback but its true the this college doesn't have any clubs and activities

Admission

I applied for Deccan college of engineering and technology (DCET) which is located near nampally, Hyderabad it was well known for its mechanical faculty and it was located in the city and transportation was aslo easy

Faculty

Basically i was from the mechanical background si as of when i was persuing my degree in mechanical engineering i observed that the faculty in that department is way more experienced and helps us with the enough ways by sharing their knowledge to let us not to face any problems in the future

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

My College

There were 2 other colleges i applied to 1.Lords 2.MJ and i got confirmed admission from Lords college, but i choosed this college because this college is populer for engineering and it was near to my house. I got rejected from MJ college due to its higher cutoff marks. The admissin will be done through counselling and management. Students prefer EMCET exam and it is elidible for B.E course. The cutoff Ranks are 65000-75000 and overall admission experience was good and worthy...Read More
