In Physiotherapy department mainly 10 teaching faculties are there and student strength is 25 in each batch. > Teacher student relation is friendly and we can interact them with our problems and they understand and sort it out soon. > They take class, teach us with the help of different books,presentation, seminars, and even demonstrate some methods which are required to be shown. >Aarthi Mam was my class coordinator for 3 years. She is very caring and she genuinely gives attention to the students problem >Jay kumar Sir is an excellent professor and also our class coordinator for final year. > Rajesh Sir was my project guide. He helped and guided me well in that. > Hod sir Shri Santosh Khanna sir was there for guidance whenever it was needed. > There are basically 4 annual examination for the course. Each year one examination was there. Regular examination was held on first week of August. Supplementary exam was held on the first week of February. I have given all examination in August month. Paper was bit difficult and the checking was bit tough. >Out of 25,5 got back paper in the first year. Later during final year all 24 People have passed out. > Here all the papers were based on the clinical and the intervention approached by physiotherapy. Assessment were taught and how to deal with that.

Niepmd - ASIA'S only college for multiple disabilities

Clinical exposure will be much better than other colleges

-Faculty students ratio is like to be 1: 20 - mr. kurunji chelvan sir principal of bachelor of occupational therapy was having a good experience and very well maintained relationship with students - priya mam too strict for the students - every year one annual exam will be there not semester, then exam will be difficult, two type of exam one is theory and another one is practical, Every year may be one or two student will fail

Everything you need to know - NIEPMD

The BPT course is 4 years long with a 6 month internship which is divided inside and outcampus by 3 months each. For the entire physiotherapy department there are 10 internal staff and a few externals who teach specific papers. So the ratio is around 1:10 faculty to student. They are easily approachable but you must know something related to what you're about to ask and most importantly, a reference book. Exams are annual and difficult and every year has a viva. From 2nd year onwards there are practicals included in the viva. There is no reason to like or hate any of the faculty, this is rather trivial.

LIFE IN NIEPMD

Limited teaching faculties because in this shorter period the hiring of professors and assistant professor is still pending.

Respected Mr. Kurinji chelvan sir , head of unit(House) , college of occupational therapy, inspiration for every student and most talented sir which he will not show off the others , Humble and simple sir . In occupational therapy (ot) there are 5 male staff and 1 female staff for HRD students There are 1 male staff and 1 female staff for clinicals . All the staffs are friendly to everyone and everyone has unique talent or king of their subjects Every exams are easy which comes early once Even one month before exam or started studying after timetable is enough for completing the syllabus and can gain knowledge easily .

Love my college

They are highly qualified and knowledgeable and gold medalist teachers are there they takes on time classes give you assignments if you have any difficulties regards any things they help you like a friend, teachers will guide you to which book you must read, they told you always learn for knowledge not for passing marks.

They have both internal and external faculties. students will opt for this course probably after 12th standard. In first year they will provide orientation to various department of the college is college also have proper clinical hours for students.

Very good top-class star rated teachers it is our luck to study there. All are doctorates and postgraduates in their fields. They have rich clinical experience even. They are the masterminds in designing the syllabus to many universities even. They teach in foreign universities as honorary teachers.

Experts who have been in the medical field for the past 10 to 15 years constitutes the faculty department of our college. They are skilled and very patient enough when it comes to dealing with students. Involving practicals and theory constitute our faculty department.
