The university was the best for distant learners. I was able to work as well as study in a much sorted way. The teachers were understanding. The other facilities provided to the students were well enough to shape their careers.
A successful candidate who has cleared plus 2 is eligible for getting admission into the course. We have to fill the application form and submit with copies of mark sheets of SSLC. We will be asked to pay the admission fee and first year fees if selected.
Here the eligibility criteria were bachelor's degree of three or four years so after my bachelor's I decided to do Master of Business Administration from this university as my profile matched completely. I applied here with some assistance on the online platform and got the acceptance within a few weeks.
At the first stage, I applied to distance learning but later on when I got my acceptance letter I shifted my course to on campus. I managed to get admission through the management quota as my previous academic scores were quite less than average. At the online portal, a link with the application form is already given. I followed all the instructions and submitted the documents.
The admission process is entirely online. You have to register on their admission portal with a working number and email id. Once all the details are filled carefully and the documents are submitted, you have to pay the registration fees. Once done, you will get an application form which has to be mailed to the address - office of Directorate of Distance Education, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
For admission in UG courses, the candidate must have completed 12th or diploma in any field with English as a compulsory subject. PG courses such as M.A in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Public Administration and Economics, M.Sc. in Mathematics and M.Com. is present in DDE of Maharishi Dayanand University. For this, the candidate must have a Bachelor?s Degree in the respective field from Maharishi Dayanand University or any other recognised university
Admission to all the courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. All candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject are eligible for BA and B. Com courses. For [M.LIB.I.SC], the candidates need to pass Bachelor?s degree from a recognised university. For MA, M.Sc. and M.Com courses, a Bachelor?s degree in the relevant subject is required for fulfilling the eligibility. Minimum eligibility for M.LIB.I.SC is to hold a [B.LIB.I.SC]. degree from MDU or other recognised university. Application process is online and the candidates need to fill the form through the official website of university. MDU students enrolling for PG program need to perform different steps at the time of filling the application form as compared to students from other board or university.
