Review session of VIT

Likes

College faculties and their teaching ways and the study provided by them is easy and understandable,they also supports us in our hard times and also clear our doubts and behaves like a freind with us making us understand and learn the subject easily
College structure and the facilities provided by college like lab facilities where we have workable computers and all day available labs where we can practice our study or we can understand any concepts which is not clear to us by our own in the labs
In our college every Friday we have some kind of events which is one the best part we enjoyed a lot in that event with our friends not only friends sometimes teachers also joins us to celebrate with us, some big celebrities also come for this events

Dislikes

The washroom in our college are not cleaned properly
Exams are kept on every Monday giving us a hectic week
None of the notices are provided earlier notice only give 1day before any program

From 6 th semester students become eligible for campus placement As I am in 2 nd year I dint have any idea about the companies visited No idea about it but I have heard from seniors that they provided a avg package of 24lpa 90% STDs get placements Getting placed in a well company with good package

A honest review from student who completed one year in VIT MUMBAI

Likes

Infrastructure is so good of this college yeah the campus is not that huge but the way the managed the infrastructure is so good the auditorium of the college it is best
Faculties of the college are so good they are not rude they all have PHDs and all are so good at their own subjects
Girls to boys ratio are also way better than other engineering colleges you will see 30 girls and 40 boys in a classroom

Dislikes

The area near the college is so bad means there is slum behind the college
The college have very strict rules for the events
College have not provided any hostel facility near the college, college have hostel but it is 40 min away from the college by local train

You will be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester once you have done your internship. There are various companies that visits college every year like TCS ,Works Application, Uniqlo and Amazon Web Services etc Highest package offered was 37.5 lakhs and the average package is 4-4.5 lakhs Every year around 60-70% students are placed in this college I am planning to have masters in IT.

Honest review of my College

Likes

Infrastructure, air conditioned labs, classrooms
Big Library, den to play online and offline games
Fun events, verve( annual college event)

Dislikes

Area around college is a not good, cleanliness is not there
Bus frequency is very less for dadar, wadala bus frequency is very good
Every Monday tests, weekend gets ruined , can't focus on developing new skills.

College placement is pretty good. Many students are not sitting for the placements, they are going for higher studies like mtech, masters and mba. the average package is 4-5 lpa. Highest package is 25 lpa off campus.

My colleges faculty were really nice and helpful even during the Covid pandemic they managed to teach us very well.
My college had a wonderful compound were we used to chill and enjoy a lot.
My college provided us with multiple events so that education doesn't become boredom.

Dislikes

I didn't like the area of my college the vicinity had slums all around it.
Should have changed the theme of the college quite often rather than sticking to same thing
Our college canteen had very limited options and no non veg inside the college.

Placement Experience:

1) From Sem 7 students become eligible for placements. 2) Companies like TCS, Infosys, ICICI Bank, and many multi-national companies came for placements and they were offering packages carrying from 3 lpa to 6 lpa. 3) Highest offer was 37 LPA from Google. 4) Around 60 percent of students get the placements.

Likes

The equipment is rather neat. As in, they work very well for the tasks we are assigned to. Additionally, there are Computer labs specifically for productivity with maxed out PCs
The classrooms are well built and all A/C equipped.
There are smart boards installed now instead of traditional black or green boards

Dislikes

Canteen space is rather cramped during long breaks
There were A/C breakdowns last year. Seem to be working now.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college but in recent years, there is seen a considerable drop in the CTC. Additionally, due to decreasing demand, gaining a job is getting difficult for freshers. I would prefer getting a Masters degree after on to get better chances at landing a job.

Dislikes

Travelling from dadar is not good there are very few buses are available from dadar station

It is been reported that placements of the college have gradually increased post Covid pandemic in Vidyalankar institute of technology in recent years.it has been reported highest package of around 36-37 lpa of highest package

VIT at a glimpse

Likes

College campus is actually pretty good looks wise
Bus Transport facilities are very good as there are bus from Dadar and Wadala railway station
Faculty and staff are majorly very good and helpful in nature

Dislikes

The locality of the college is near slum
Mess and canteen facility needs a lot of improvement
Security guards are a bit too adamant in nature

Placement Experience:

I am studying in the second year of the college so I have no personal experiences to share,but as mentioned by our seniors it is clear that placements have been good since later half of covid,better companies have shown up,the highest placements have been around 25-35lpa.there is almost 75% placement ratio.many companies visit few being international

Memory of my college days

Likes

I like infrastructure of my college and I personally like M block building
Placement are also good and the average placement ratio is 97%
Teaching methods are also good and best part the behaviour of teachers are also good

Dislikes

The area , because there is a slum area around my college
There are very low celebrity interaction
College doesn't own a hostel and that's why students from other states stayed in other colleges hostels

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are able to sit in placements Tcs , Reliance , Wipro etc , These company are visited and offered 4 to 8 lakh per annum Highest package 35 lakh per annum Average package 4 lakh per anumn

good skill performing students they are learn good skill
best ma'am in this college like they give free time to complete assignment
lab available like internet , PC or MAC,s - they provided project lab for heigh project

Dislikes

they didn't support university means university match like chess , Other sport
if we are not pay fee on time than they don't allow to exam and lab exam
fee time they will be strickly to pay your fee l had expriene

placement have different types like off campus and on campus .on campus sinario is you have good CGP and good skill and you hve to attened the placement test then you selecting for on campus placemet's and other side off campus is good for you but you own responsibily

things i liked about vidyallankar is College life and the faculties and also the infastructure of the college

Dislikes

personally i am not satisfed with the college placements which is very decent approx 4,5L and for lower branches there is very less placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are veryy decent or below average in the VIdyalankar College as most of the students and reparing for GATE Exam as the placements scinerio are the really worst in Extc branch harly anyone get placed there
