- The campus: It's modular and feels luxurious
- The classes: All classes are air conditioned and fitted with smart boards
Dislikes
- The connectivity: It's not well connected with railway. The only option for all students is to travel by bus.
- The complexity of academics: Students need to login on 4-5 websites daily to check their academic work. No teacher instructs properly how to and where to manage the academic load.

Likes
- College's infrastructure is really good but also kinda confusing. It feels so futuristic after entering the college .
- College has 3 canteens to handle the number of students present. Also, there's a mess facility too provided by the college for hostelers.
Dislikes
- We have a thing called Monday tests, whose marks are considered as MIDSEM marks, so weekends are kinda hectic. If you're planning to chill out on weekends, please do think bout it.
- The college is surrounded by slums backside, so it ofcourse feels dirty while coming to college.Also, nothing to visit or to hangout with friends outside the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The year wise fees I paid was 87,194 rupees(actual amount is 1,53,000 my fees for reduced due to EWS) My category is EWS, and this is how my fees is divided: 66,305 is the tution fee 19,894 is development fee 230 is enrolment fee 767 is other university fee Scholarships like EWS and TFWS are available here in this college.

- The teachers are good and the Labs are well maintained
- The college campus is really good, has all facilities.
Dislikes
- The washrooms are under renovation which is a slight inconvenience
- The canteen's food isn't really tasty although there are 3 canteens all are run by the same vendors
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
I have applied for international package in VP which offers 3 yr diploma in VP and 3 yr degree out of India. The overall fees for Diploma in Computer Engineering is 70,000(every year) and the excess fees for international package which includes visa accommodation etc was 1,20,000 (every year). I have taken admission from Institute quota so I cannot apply for Scholarship.

- Overall is very good no need to improve anything
- Every one is comfortable with each other so no issues
Dislikes
- Parking area should be arranged well for everyone

The yearly fee at my time was around 64000 per year the course was about 3 years for open category as per OBC is about half of it and SC/ST has no fees. As though students can apply for scholarships through open category well the caste facilities students have to fill scholarships complasory. As this year the college have increased the fee

- Faculty members were very helpful and supportive
- Campus was clean and everyone was very kind and helpful.
Dislikes
- The ground is bit small as compared to other colleges,
- Sometimes there is no electricity in the classroom.

Our fees for the general category students for 1 year was 65000(overall) including the lab fees, books fees, exam fees, etc, for sc/st students it was something 5000-10000 only. For total course it was approximately 2 lakhs.
Likes
- The syllabus of the college is very unique and focuses on improving students skill and developing his/hers practical knowledge and abilities
- Vidyalankar Institute of technology provides great faculties who are highly experienced and highly qualified with a good teaching plan
Dislikes
- Despite having good placements there is not a guarantee of a 100% placement
- Due to the area there is sometime shortage of water which occurs but rarely
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fee structure is provided by the Mumbai university. The college charges as per guidelines provided by the Mumbai university also there are many programs for student which reduces the burden of paying tuition fee for their respective courses. Economically backward class, caste reservation , women reservation etc are all provided
Likes
- Some of the things which I appreciated in this college were the sports opportunities, they have all kinds of sports teams, you can also go for nationals if your team performs well.
- Vidyalankar polytechnic boasts an impressive campus that caters to every student’s needs, the college offers three canteens which provides good food, the campus provides ample parking facilities for the students as well as the professors.
Dislikes
- So i will be honest, there are a lot of things which i disliked about this college, as i mentioned above only some of the faculty members are helpful, from my personal experience i have faced a lot of problems with my professors and teachers.
- The course i opted for which was Electronics and telecommunications had a lot of practical work to perform, but the labs of this college were very poor, some of the equipments wont work as they should
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
You can apply for scholarships depending on your financial state, the college provides a gpod help in this, placements are also available after diploma but the package is not at all good, it makes sense because you dont have that much knowledge after diploma
Likes
- Vidyalankar polytechnic serves good education and sets higher standards for the students. In my 3 years diploma in IT they've taught me alot. My problem solving skills have become good because they organise a lot of brainstorming events.
- The final year project experience was really very good. Vidyalankar helds a project exhibition where every student gets the chance to showcase their project and their talent.
Dislikes
- The location is always a problem, it's so crowded and busy all the time.
- Sometimes it was too strict like once we were told that the students of VP were not allowed to sit in the canteen.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The complete cost of course is Rs 65,500. But as I fall in SC caste I didn't had to pay any fees. I was provided a scholarship. There are placement opportunities for final semester students which can provide upto 5LPA. Companies like Infosys comes to the campus and take interviews. Students can opt for job or degree.

- Infrastructure, campus environment, gaming lounge, gymkhana available, lot of activities are also held
Dislikes
- Placements, discipline maintained in campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
For open category it is 1,37,000. The fees vary with respect to reservations and caste. It can be paid in full, or using bank loans through clg, it also has the option to pay in installments so its a good system overall.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Tution fee depends on the course you choose and the university. 152000 is the annual fee of the college including service fees and other compulsory charges. Economical backward class and economical wealer section these scholarships are available for the below poverty line students. As i am still studying in 3rd year i have not yet taken any placements or campus jobs.
