- The sports facilities amazing we have three rounds for

- College is in a remote area it's like 40 km away from Siliguri
- The weather is too Harsh in the winter. And in winter there is very much for in our area
- The exams are quite hard so students have to study really hard so that they can pass

The students can be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and then on they can able to apply on companies the in the last year we have 98% placement and the average package was 8 lakhs per year and the highest package was 63.5 lakhs per year

- Coding culture of Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College
- Faculty members. Some members are really very good
- Environment of this place where this college is situated
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is poor. Because it is so old college because it is established in 1961
- No boundaries in college campus . Private car also passes.
- Library problem - there is no enough space to group study.

College placement is very good. 100% placement last year.
Non core and core all department are good for placement.
Good College for engineering students.Awesome faculty members of every department of engineering and all professor has renownable degree form top universities.
Placements are also too good for both core and non core branches.
Highest package is nearly 65 lpa

- Campus is Lush green and there are several grounds to play sports like cricket, basketball, vollyball.
- Classes are conducted regularly and exams are taken on time.
- College organises different events for students career development.
Placement Experience:
Our placements is good. Companies like TCS, Media.net, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant frequently visits our college for in campus drive. Many students prepare for Off campus placement and many has cracked placement and internship in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and big multi-national companies.

- Campus area is very good it’s about 118 acres
- Faculties are very helpful here … quality of content given here is good
- Seniors are helpful here if u have any doubts about anything related to studies or life seniors will give good suggestions here
Dislikes
- Hostels are not maintained properly but now it is renovating so i hope it will be good in future
- Maximum area of the colleges is not used
- Condition of the building is not so good
Placement Experience:
Placement are good here about 96% of the students got placed last year.. internship are good to here in this year only 2 students from our college got interned at microsoft and amazon.. so avg package here is 8LPA nd highest package is 60 LPA

- The campus area is very high like 170 acres
- 3 fullfilled grounds for sports facility and gym
- Various types of clubs to enhance the skills of the students
Dislikes
- Colleges in remote area it's 40k from Siliguri
- The fees are a little to be extra exactly 18000 per year
- The semester exams are quite hard students have to study really
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible from 7th semester to get campus placements there is various companies with digit our college like Amazon cognizant Microsoft TCS etc almost 98% students are getting placement over the years personally I would like to join a job after completing my daily course

- The teacher of our collage are very good.

- The infrastructure of our collage is very old.
- The situation of on campus placement in this year is very low

Probably after 6 th semistar a student can apply for campus placement.By the way our oncampus placement is also good.Amazon, wipro and all other core company like voltus also visited here.I want to do M.tech after this degree.

Iit qualified and phd qualified teacher teached us
Exam are conducted timely , if you study then you qulify the exam . If you not study then exam top much heard

- The faculty members of our college is awesome

- Maintenance is required for this college
- Lab facility is not available for some subjects
- Hostel maintenance is also needed like cleaning.
Placement Experience:
Around from 7 th sem you will eligible for campus placements . Around 20 companies visited last year like tcs cognizant Wipro tata steel tata power celebel technologies.etc here highest package Last year is 64 lacks . around 90 persentage of students got placed last year.

In our College placement comes after 4 years and internship is done in the third year. Studentdo internship because they are eligible and after that they do not have any problem in getting placement and get very good packages. Over here.
Very different companies come to this college.

- the campus life is very good the sports facilities good
- the campusing and internship programs are quite high in our college
- we don't need to pay a very high amount of money to get an education
Dislikes
- the college is in a little remote area Its 40km away from Siliguri
- in winter the weather is very hard the temperature is reaching up to 10 degree centigrade
- the hostels are incompetent to take admission of all the students available in the college
Placement Experience:
