PGGCG provides best education in India.

Likes

Everything is college is best and everthing is appreciated including thr campus.

Dislikes

There is major issue of attendance in this college everything else is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are various curriculum activities performed in PGGCG and teaching method is the best in India.It is one of the top colleges in chandigarh. There is only attendance issue in college. Exams are easy to moderate and they gave 3 hours.

PGGCG is indeed the best college in India.

The college campus is very decent and having beautiful canteen and nescafe.

Dislikes

The college is more like a school having major issue of attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The girls in this college are very talented and performs various activities like in dance,music and sports. There is also NCC team . The exams are easy to moderate and students can easily prepare with help of teachers.

Teachers are very helpful and always ready to teach new things
The library and the campus is also good.

Dislikes

Auditorium is not properly taken care of
In some classes benches are broken and are really old

I choose this course because I love maths and I wanted to study here. Curriculum which helps for real world depends on subject to subject. For me political science is very useful in daily life. Teaching methods and the exam timings are set by the university so they are all good. Exams are not that difficult if you prepare properly.

The campus is spacious with various grounds and trees surrounding the campus
There are various clubs and societies, events, seminars etc
The food is provided at canteen at a very affordable level

Dislikes

Some teachers focus on attendance and not really on studies
Not all departments are great, it totally depends on the teacher
No internship opportunities are provided and placement cell is also weak

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally chose this course to get a blend of all the major subjects of social sciences, and the staff is fine. The curriculum largely focuses on theoretical knowledge which can be shifted to more practical and the teachers mostly focus on bookish knowledge, exams are held every semester which is twice a year, and difficulty is medium.

College library. Library staff. Facilities etc.
Cooperative staff, varieties of books etc.
Student sitting area and enviournment of library.

Dislikes

College washrooms are very bad sometimes.
Classroms fans they are very slow especially when there are summer days.
Projecters they are not working may be .

There are lots of courses in college. I chose BA. And there are a lot of students in college and faculty members. And the teachers are very good and cooperative. All teachers are Ph.D. cleared and teach students in a good way.

I have chosen this course according to my previous Qualification. Everyone can choose a stream and course according to his previous educational qualification. faculty and staff members are very experienced. They are a way of teaching is superb. Papers are taken semester-wise. In one year there are two semesters. Exams are not too difficult and accordingly to the syllabus taught by teachers

Best college in Chandigarh is Pggcg-42

Placement Experience:

From the fifth semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The number of companies visited here is very huge in number. Around 75% of the students get placed every year in this college based on their skills and hard work. My plan after getting a BA in Economics honours is to do M.A in economics. But the saddest thing is that the M.A in economics is not available there in our PGGCG-42 Chandigarh.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in the third year of their college. In the end months, the various placement companies come and offer jobs in the college. Amazon provided the 2,1,3000 annual package. Placement completely depends on the students and their preferences. Some students choose to study further and some choose to appear for the competitive exams and some choose to work. I have chosen to get into government institutions.

Remarks:

PGGCG-11 is an all-girls college and one of the most reputed institutes in Chandigarh in terms of academics. Being a government institute, the fees here is reasonable. The college is affiliated to Panjab University and offers students the chance to develop holistically. The admission process for centralised courses is conducted by Panjab University whereas for the non-centralised courses, the admission process is conducted by the college.
