Post Graduate Government College for Girls Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

2nd year and last year student got placements. But very few got placements . Because rare companies visit college. Amazon, wipro and many more but very few ratio of students got placements. I have not got any placements. My batchmates have not got any placements. So overall experience of placements is bad.

I choose post graduate government college for girls sector 11 Chandigarh over others college due to its strong academic reputation wide range of course offerings , experienced faculty and modern infrastructure

My course is quite good I am currently pursuing ba Hons in psychology and I prefer that this clg is good enough for this courses. I have 8 subjects in my course the three is core subjects of mine and best

In my high school I was humanity student so I pursued ba with the vision of cracking government exams and working for the people and there is a lot of knowledge which I am gaining from the college but sometimes I have to learn the name of The Scholars the historians to me personally which is like so much irrelevant so I personally believe if we have more technical and more out of the theory things more practical things we learn when I think I can do a bit more good job for my future and and our education system also needs to improve

Course curriculum guides you through the best path you've to choose in future or after your graduation. They organized different events seminars and internship for the students to teach them new skills

My interest in learning about literature and politics influenced me to choose the course . The course helps for real world as it teaches about the perspective of people . The syllabus should be according to the time given to complete the course so that teachers do not rush with the syllabus. The level of exams is moderate which is good according to my perspective

I choose commerce as l like study that.even the classes are good. Everything is nice but nowadays commerce needs more than just bookish so.so it's need to be improved.frequency of exams makes students loose the interest.

The curriculum is just fine. I choosed BA with economics honours as i have a keen interest in economics and the faculty further increaded my interest in it by connecting things with the practical aspects. If the professors teaches well then it preapres us well for real world applicability but if professor does not teach students with that vigour or practicality in their subject then it is of no use in real life. So, it all depends on the professor and their teaching method. The exams are quite frequent . We have our semester exams after 4 or 5 months from the beginning of the semester. And in between them we have to give the mid-semester examinations as well. The level if examination is moderate. If one studies well the she can do great in the examination.

All the courses in the college are very good. The teachers' way of teaching is also very good. From my side, no course is bad. The timing of the paper during the exam is also good, the paper lasts for 3 hours

There is a different room is made for the placement self for internships as well. They provide a very good placement to their students after their degrees of four lakh five lakh around which is very helpful for the students to be grown in future.
