Teachers are punctual.colledge premises is clean as well as well maintained.students are inspired to participate in different activities.
Academic and discipline of students makes school more special

Everything is nice except sometimes students not get proper notification about coming events.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose commerce as l like study that.even the classes are good. Everything is nice but nowadays commerce needs more than just bookish so.so it's need to be improved.frequency of exams makes students loose the interest.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 12100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise average fees between 11000 to 12000 so.yearly it's 21000 nd there is two commerce classes both have 140 students as I not living hostel so,I don't know exactly about college hostel but as much as know it's pretty good.college provide scholarship for financial weaker students and scholars.

Campus Life

It's nice.there is lot of extra curriculum activities.NCC and other activities students choose as per their interest.students took part in drama and other activities also.it show positive impact on students.

Admission

I know about this college and it's academic performance is pretty well so I decided to enroll myself in that college.firstly online form filling than took admission in college with their proper school documents.

Faculty

As my college under the panjab university Chandigarh so,marking and exam system is same.In graduation 3 years there are six exam.each exam in 6 months.semester wise.every few students are fail in exam.

Night Life

I not living in hostel.so,I don't know proper night life of hostel girls.per I thought is pretty well they are living a comfortable life with proper time for their academics.It show in behaviour of hostel girls.

Learning and Growth at PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

The students can sit for placements in their final year of course. The tricity based companies come for campus placements for jobs that need strong communication skills and basic knowledge of their domain. The maximum package that was offered goes up to 5 LPA, and the average packages are lower than this arounf 3 LPA. I wanted to go for Post Graduation so did not opt for campus placement.

The course curriculum is relevant and fairly comprehensive. Well defined syllabus with core subjects included. Balanced focus on theory and academic learning. Suitable for students aiming for higher studies. The curriculum prepares students well for post graduate studies and entrance exam.exposure to practical and industry oriented applications is limited. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT- Inclusion of skill based and industry relevant modules. Greater use of interactive teaching methods. More guest lectures and workshops. First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.
