SJGDC offers various UG courses in the disciplines of Arts, Commerce and Science. Admission to SJGDC UG courses is offered to only those candidates who have passed based 10+2 from a recognised board.
Candidates are selected on the basis of the SILVERCET entrance exam. The selected candidates will be called for Document Verification followed by a counselling Session.
SJGDC offers BSc as its popular course.
SJGDC also offers PG courses. Admissions to PG courses like MSC, MCom, and MA require candidates to have a Bachelor's degree from a Recognised University.

SJGDC Admission Process 2025

For admission to any undergraduate course at SJGC, applicants must have 10+2 in the relevant stream, conducted by a recognized higher secondary education board to be eligible. Similarly for postgraduate courses, applicants must have completed graduation in the relevant field to be eligible for admission. The Admission process for SJGDC is mentioned below.

Candidate must read the Instructions carefully and check the Eligibility criteria before filling up the application form.
Candidate has to fill all the details correctly as mentioned in X and XII Certificates.
On The submission of the Application form, candidates has to make an online payment of Registration fees. A Journal Number will be issued after the payment of the fees.
Further, candidate has to fill Model Application Form and upload the necessary documents.
After the submission of the form, candidate has to take out a printout of the Application form with a Reference Number. This Number will be required to download the Hall Ticket of the SILVERCET Entrance Exam.
Shortlisted Candidates will be called to the Campus for the verification of the documents. The Selection of the candidate will be rejectedif they fail to submit the necessary documents at the time of admission.
After the Verification Process, Counselling Session will be conducted for admission into SJGDC based on the Merit score in the SILVERCET exam.

Note: For any mistakesor any incorrect information, the candidate will be held responsible . Incomplete or Incorrect forms will be rejected.

Photocopies of the 10th & 12th standard marksheet (as D.O.B proof)

Ques. What is the Eligibility Criteria for appearing in the SILVERCET examination fro SJGDC Admissions?

Ans. Students who have appeared for Senior Intermediate Examination in March / April – 2022 conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. and Board of Intermediate of Telangana or equivalent to Intermediate of A.P. & Telangana are ONLY eligible to appear for the test subject to the other conditions. The students appeared for the Intermediate Instant Examinations in 2022 are not eligible for admission. They should have passed the qualifying examination in one and first attempt in IPE – March, 2022 and should have secured 50% of marks on aggregate and 40% of marks in English subject (there is a relaxation of 5% in the case of SC / ST / BCs).

Ques. What is the Marking scheme for SILVERCET Examination at SJGDC?

Ans. The Marking scheme for SILVERCET at SJGDC is mentioned as follows.The on-line examination will be in one session of 100 minutes duration in the subjects mentioned. The Examination will be conducted for 100 marks in Total.There will be three papers for 25 marks in each subject in addition to English paper for 25 marks. English paper is common to all. Examination will be conducted based on the Intermediate syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. Guntur) for group subjects. Questions will be in both English and Telugu media and in objective type multiple choice questions.There will be no negative marks for wrong answer.

For getting admission into this silver jubilee govt college we have to apply for SILVER CET, which is silver jubilee govt college common entrance test. All students who have passed their intermediate or +2 can apply for this and after getting results, first 50 students will be called for physical verification of documents and this list is prepared by keeping all reservation guidelines in applicable only. After that they need to pay fees and they can join the college and hostel on the intimated day which will be 10 days later to verification date. This college have a network with past students from first batch (1972) in that we have many IAS, IPS, IRS officers and also many group 1 cadre officers who are always ready to help and guide the students of silver jubilee govt college kurnool

For entering this prestigious institution we need to crack an entrance exam early it was APRDC, no it's Changed to Silver Vet whatever, we need to crack the entrance exam and we need to go for counselling it's very tough to get admission in this prestigious institution earlier days, seats also very limited for b.com it's only 40 Seats 20+20 general and computer applications.
