Ques. How does the IQAC Committee work at SJGDC?
Ans. The primary task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. The success of IQAC depends upon the sense of personalisation and participative attitude, along with committed hard work and the team spirit of all the stakeholders. The functions expected of the IQAC are the Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution. Creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty knowledge/skill promotion to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process is another function. Arrangement for feedback from students, parents, alumni and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes is another responsibility of IQAC towards the Institution.
Ques. How many Part- part-time courses are offered at SJGDC?
Ans. SJDGC offers a Part-Time Bachelor's course in Political Science for 3 years. It is an on-campus degree course with total fees of INR 25,500. For getting admission into this course, candidates need 10+2 from a recognised Board. Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of SILVER CET examination score. A minimum of 64/160 marks on aggregate in the Entrance Test is required for admission. The cut-off marks may be relaxed if the situation demands it in certain courses. Ques. What facilities are available for handling Challenges at SJGDC?
Ans. IICs' role is to engage a large number of faculty, students and staff in various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities such as ideation, Problem solving, Proof of Concept development, Design Thinking, IPR, project handling and management at the Pre-incubation/Incubation stage, etc., so that the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem gets established and stabilised in HEIs. The IIC model is designed to address the existing challenges/issues in HEIs such as less numbers, occasional and unplanned Innovation & Entrepreneurship (1&E) activities organised in HEIs with low involvement of top leadership, lack of coherence and absence of synergy in resource mobilization, deployment and underutilization of creative potential of youths as major barrier for vibrant 1&E ecosystem to emerge from HEIs.
