Student Life at Silver Jubilee Government College, Kurnool.

More than about curriculum I have to say that this college turns a normal student into a great student who is fit for any kind of job and students of silver jubilee govt college can adopt in any situation and they can go on with any kind of circumstances.

In our college we get good internships with a stipend also and from the last year our Cluster University is trying a lot to increase placements and in upcoming years we can hope for a good placement record in our silver jubilee govt college. Last year many of our students got placed in TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, e.t.c. We can also do internship with our personal choice if needed and intersted but we have to inform about this in prior to college internship co-ordinator.

As we have paid 3,190/- for our college as college fee, which includes caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, e.t.c and we also have to pay 4,000/- per year for hostel and in hostel we usually get a room which has to be shared with 4 members . But from our juniors college fee got increased like now it was 8,500/- for first year and from 2nd year it will be 6,250/- as college fee and hostel fee was common like 4,000 per year and sem examination fee is around like 650/- per sem. And this is all it costs in silver jubilee govt college to complete your BA. But all of our faculties have did their Ph.D. We are equipped with good library, computer lab, great faculty and beautiful hostel with spacious rooms

This college have many fests like semi christmas, new year celebrations, annual day, e.t.c This college also has many clubs like eco club and e.t.c and also NCC and NSS which are purely managed by students only. We all have equipped with gym facility and sports department provides all needy things for us. A vast library which is the 2nd biggest in kurnool.

Every student will get admission in college hostel which is purely managed by final year students of the college and to be precise this is not a college for which we have to join by seeing the hostel facilities and it was not so bad but it was ok and this college is everything about studies. Food is quite good. During college admission only this hostel admission will also get over. Hostel fee is 4,000/- per year.

For getting admission into this silver jubilee govt college we have to apply for SILVER CET, which is silver jubilee govt college common entrance test. All students who have passed their intermediate or +2 can apply for this and after getting results, first 50 students will be called for physical verification of documents and this list is prepared by keeping all reservation guidelines in applicable only. After that they need to pay fees and they can join the college and hostel on the intimated day which will be 10 days later to verification date. This college have a network with past students from first batch (1972) in that we have many IAS, IPS, IRS officers and also many group 1 cadre officers who are always ready to help and guide the students of silver jubilee govt college kurnool

We all get faculties who have did their Ph.D and the course structure it will be like 1st sem will be of common course and later on it changes as per student opted major subjects. Each and every faculty we have are friendly and they have a vast knowledge. There is nothing to worry about sem exams for an average student also, students who attend classes daily can pass those exams at ease..

Nearby we have khana khazana all well place for having food and enjoyment which is just 5 mins from our college. And we also have a public ground which is 2 mins from our college and we also have many cafetaria and our college canteen to get chill.
