Faculty,our college faculty was very good ,all teacher are very supportive. encourage student to do study with extra curricular activities
Sbsc provides one of the best placements in delhi university with known companies such as deloitte tcs and others
The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

I liked teaching and professors teaching style of my college it was extremely nice
Societies of my college.my college is also good at extra curricular activities like societis . societies are of diverse field like debating,civil services, department society
Cleaning and infrastructure are very nice and about the campus and greenary of my college

Dislikes

Annual Fest is not as good as in north campus . North campus fest was very good nice but our college didn't support this fest culture they think this is waste of money
Our sbsc college is far away from the main south campus satyaniketan region
Campus was not as big as other campus in north du colleges

The infrastructure of college is good it is still improving.
The faculty is also full of good supporting teachers
College is very focused towards academics

Dislikes

The location of college is not nice it is settled in between settlement
Sports infrastructure is not very well maintained
No fests , college is not as vibrant as it should be

Nowadays there is a strong competition in UPSC and students like me want deep understanding of the syllabus and there is whole paper of GS that is based on political science and in this course we study all the aspects of political system.

The most liking feature about college is new classroom with new technology .
My engagement with campus life and social interaction is brilliant. I got opportunity to join society that helped me in my connections.
Our most of the faculty is highly educated and is brilliant in their knowledge of their subject.

Dislikes

Sports Infrastructure needs more attention.

From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placement. Some famous company include Deloitte etc. Highly Package was 23 Lakh . I m not sure about exact how many percentage of students gets placement. To pursue Masters in same.

College campus has many plants and trees which makes the environment good.
There are street lights all around the college
Library has a reading hall which is ultimately very beneficial for students

Dislikes

Regarding Students who pursue ba program. Classes of ba program students are not conducted in the smart classrooms.

Students are eligible for placements in 3rd year as per the required eligibility of different placements units. Now there are some of the placement cells goig on inside the college. The placement cell is also active. The average placement of the college is 5 lakhs .

South Campus Life at SBSC

Likes

From technological aspect it is very advanced, college have apps and portals for our attendance and academic progress.
College campus is very neat and clean, very well maintained.
College have girls common room which have sofa, bed for resting, in washroom there are sanitary pads available for girls.

Dislikes

college infrastructure is poor, underdeveloped and area is small
college ground is not properly managed, there is no proper sports room
classes are not properly maintained in B block compared to other blocks

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.

The thing I liked most is that the teachers are well qualified
The infrastructure is very much updates md well maintained
Also few blocks have facilities of ac in the rooms

Dislikes

One thing every SBSC student dislikes is the minimum attendance criteria
The teachers are well qualified but our course need more industrial exposure and real world problems solving
Also the college ground is non functional from a very long time , due to which sports are affecting

Placement Experience:

Final year students get eligible for placements. Mahindra,EY,Bain and company, zomato and others Highest package was around 30LPA Average is 5LPA Profiles are mostly data analysis, business development and others. Around 40-50 percent students get placed. I will prepare for UPSC and also apply for placements

There are various things which I like in the college such as my college campus is engaging which provides different areas of attention such as garden, ground etc
The faculties are expert in their field and their teaching method is better than the traditional one where they use PPT and other technological docs and their mentorship quality is all above the Head and shoulder
The quality of infrastructure is quite good which includes clean drinking water, hygiene facilities, sanitation facilities, medical facilities, grounds, etc

Dislikes

My campus life is engaging and provides lots of opportunities in terms of societies but sometimes it is difficult to manage for student which I little bit dislike and rest of the things are very good.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligibility to sit in the placement from 5th semester and there are various companies who visited my college such as KPMG, Deloitte, Reliance, magicpin, etc. and number of offers they made were not explicitly disclosed by college and highest package was around 25 lakhs and average package is around 5 lakhs or 4 lakhs depends upon course to course and profile offered are finance, audit, digital marketer, etc. and around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Truth About SBSC

I will say the faculty that we have currently within political science honours is pretty great, same goes for other courses too, they have great experience.
Cleanliness in college is also good, washrooms are regularly cleaned, there are sanitary amenities available for women in their washrooms.
The canteen services are also good, regularly changed if students are not satisfied.

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is not at all good, in ba courses it is around 70-30 ratio, while in bcom courses it is worst to around 85-15 ratio.
Playground of the college is still in the making after almost 2 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding course curriculum, I am not satisfied the additional courses like SAC, VAC, AEC have no purpose, they are just a headache which makes it difficult for students to focus on the main subjects, although I am in favour of GE subjects. The marking scheme of 90 marks written paper and 70 marks for internal is also great. Apart from this talking about political science honours curriculum, I will say it is pretty great, there are difficult concepts and bulky material to study from but it could be improved by reducing the weight/ pressure put up by other subjects- sec,vac...

Infrastructure in geography department is very good and all the class of other department as well
Campus area is very clean and arranged and crowd make it good
Water and electricity facility library is well organised and well furnished

Dislikes

Campus is very small and. The area near coll is not good
Canteen food is very bad and it changes many times in a year because of hygiene
The area outside the coll is not clean there is dumping area which smell fishy

Placement Experience:

Every year your college has good placements and highest placement goes to bcom hons students after srcc for commerce my coll is on 2 rank for commerce fir students and average package is 5 lakh and In geography department also placement were given in 3 yr or maybe after 3 yr placement will come

The thing which I liked the most was the good administration of this college!
College has best cleanliness ! Like whenever you go to any washroom they are super clean!
The infrastructure is also top notch (comparing with other DU Colleges) specially of Geography Department

Dislikes

Attendance policy! I mean it just takes a heavy toll on your daily life.
Strictness of this college! Like guards won’t allow you to enter if you forget to bring Id Card!
Admin behaviour! Whenever you go to admin block! Their behaviour is not upto the mark!

See in my course, students are not that much focused on placement! They are more focused on things like upsc, govt jobs, academics, professors, further MBA! So I do not know about the placement culture! But for someone who wants placement in GIS field there is a placement cell for geography department as well!

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies(SSCBS) is a well-known college for business studies. The college offers various advanced courses such as management studies, cybersecurity, and computer science.

Courses:

The college offers eight courses related to business management, marketing, and science streams.
These include BMS, BBA, Fintech, PGDCSL, Digital Marketing, National Stock Exchange Certified Capital Market professional, Data Analytics for Business, and B.Sc(computer science).

Eligibility:

For Business Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), the students should qualify 10+2 with a total of 50% aggregate. The course duration is 3 years.
