Faculty,our college faculty was very good ,all teacher are very supportive. encourage student to do study with extra curricular activities
Sbsc provides one of the best placements in delhi university with known companies such as deloitte tcs and others
The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

Best faculty of geography department in my college.
very healthy and supportive environment .
Everyone focus on studies and other co- curricular activities

Dislikes

I do not like my college canteen it should be better.

Placement Experience:

2nd and 3rd year students are eligible for placements and internships in my college . And the average pakage is around 5 lakhs per annum . After i complete my geography hons degree . I pusue masters degree and prepare for govenment exams.

Truth about DU

Likes

Teaching method is good and professors are well experienced
There is huge classroom and campus us also big but not equal to private one
Better infrastructure, big open air auditorium

Dislikes

Firstly attendance criteria is too as we have to maintain 66.67 percent
Second, not enough franchise stores like nescafe as in private
Thirdly, not having enough relaxing prograsmes like fest although it happened but only 1

Our college offer placements after course completion as past years there is ppo from Delloite and from other mncs also, and there is great petsonalities like Sidharta Malhotra and IAS officers from our college

Our classroom infrastructure which is very organised compare than some bigger college
Garden area which is quit peaceful and relaxing
Our faculties they are very optimistic and their teaching skills really well.

Canteen frankly it can be better they should improve atleast

6 semester students can eligible Deloitte Average package is 4-5 lac and highest 10-11 lac We need minimum 8.5 to 9 or 9.5 cgpa for placement My plan is for doing Masters and preparing govt exam like ssc,upsc,delhi police

Course Curriculum Overview:

BA(Honours) History really provide great and wider aspects that influence me a lot. Course is such that I can future pursue phd and master in particular subject. Interaction and easier mathod of learning system will help student. Exam timing was quite satisfaction.

The genuine guide

Campus well maintenance with cleanliness
Faculty of our department is very much supportive and understanding
Also the principal sir's initiative for students internship under principal intership scheme and stipend

Dislikes

Some sort of relaxation to be needed in attendance
College fest still misses the charm it used to have earlier
Sports ground need to be opened at its earliest which was closed because of renovation purpose

There are more placements in the BCom department. Our course majority of the students go into the field of competitive exams. I am aware of the annual package being 6 LPA of Bcom students. Talking about my degree I will be having plans to prepare for UPSC.

Good infrastructure and best profesor.

Likes

The best thing is the behaviour of professors of my course they are really cooperative and friendly.
Library facilities and reading hall with All the necessities - AC , wifi, Clean Washroom, Drinkable water.

Dislikes

Lack of access to the ground because of constant construction
The behaviour of the security guard is very rude.

I really don't have much ideas about the placement but my college do have placement cell and they are really active and on average the placement of my college is 5LPA. My plan after degree is I will go for higher studies.

College is serious about study which is a good thing
Location of college campus is good and safe

Dislikes

College timings are bit complicated and sometimes the gap between the classes is too long.

In field of commerce our course curriculum is very relevant and other than that optional subject are also good for broader knowledge other than that the course I am persuing.Exams are at moderate level , a student who have studied 50% of what is taught seriously can pass the subject.

SBSC in a bit

Likes

Library facilities provided by the college are quite good
Ground facilities have number of sports to enjoy
No unnecessary politics on the campus which helps students stay in a friendly environment

Dislikes

67% attendance is compulsory which is not hard to maintain
As a freshers it’s hard to understand everything around because there is hardly any guidance by the college
College building construction has been going for months

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many reasons as this is a course which will help me in future even if I decide to change my goals and pursue anything else it will help me there as this course is very versatile and exams are in every 6 months

Life as a 2nd year at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College

Likes

The library is great, it is fully air conditioned, there is lots of space to sit and read/study.
Free wifi is made available to students.
NCC is available for boys which is good for overall development.

Dislikes

NCC is not available for girls in the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very much active. They also post internship opportunities which help in personality development and overall profile building. During placement season, they provide webinars on important and salient topics like resume building, aptitude preparation and inyerview preparation to help and support you during the process.We have a variety of companies visit our campus, like Big 4, Big 3 companies as well and the average package is around 8LPA.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

The college has a vibrant campus life filled with numerous clubs and societies . From consulting to drama all kinds of societies are there to cater your interests. Various sports clubs are also available . This societies and club help one to develop.
The college has the best faculty one can ask for . Teachers are highly qualified and experienced . They are extremely helpful and supportive except for a few .The Teachers are quite approachable and will provide you any kind of guidance you require .
The placement and internship cell are quite active. They are able to bring onboard big companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC, BCG, Accenture, etc. Various workshops and seminars are conducted on regular basis to help students prepare for interviews.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not the best . Due to construction going on college library and ground are not accessible to the students . Classrooms need renovation . New classroom are being renovated but it would take time .There is no common room for boys.
Attendance is a major issue . Below 66.67% attendance students are detained from giving one paper . This policy is quite pointless as college life is not just about attending classes and tests but also exploring other options for personal growth . I
The college administration is very slow and doesn’t listen to students. Getting documents verified and approvals can be lengthy leading to frustration among students.Students often face difficulties in getting timely response from the administration.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for the placement drive. A lot of companies including high level and medium range companies visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the big names visiting the campus are BCG, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, EY, etc. Highest placement offered was 21,00,000 and average placement offered is 4,00,000. Most of the who sit in the placement drive gets placed. I plan on to doing my masters from Europe after my undergraduation.

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies(SSCBS) is a well-known college for business studies. The college offers various advanced courses such as management studies, cybersecurity, and computer science.

The college has been ranked in the 2nd position by “India Today” in the list of best BBA courses offered by the various colleges. Here are a few more facts about SSCBS.

Courses:

The college offers eight courses related to business management, marketing, and science streams.
These include BMS, BBA, Fintech, PGDCSL, Digital Marketing, National Stock Exchange Certified Capital Market professional, Data Analytics for Business, and B.Sc(computer science).

Eligibility:

For Business Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), the students should qualify 10+2 with a total of 50% aggregate. The course duration is 3 years.
Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law(PGDCSL) course is only for a year. The students should hold either graduation or post-graduation certificates to take this course.
