I'm very much interested in finance and BMS course sums up all aspects of finance. I got influenced by my dad to get a degree in BMS Finance. It prepares me very well to learn and apply the principles in real world. Although there might be some improvements needed in syllabus as practical things should only be teached. I think the timings and frequency of exams are perfect and difficulty level of exams is moderate.

This course can improved by making it more fun be initiating a company level activities. There is not much to be said on the exam time because they are set perfect and students get enough time to prepare .

Courses curriculum is good and updated and not to much old. The faculty are also good ij teaching there subjects. My interest was in finance so i took this course. It does prepare you for real world with theorotical knowledge but in the real world you want hands on experience to work but a good degree to pursue if you confuse in what to do with life

The course and curriculum is just too good the courses is designed as per the management students there is a combination of theoretical and practical subjects , The first year of BMS has 7 common subjects related to all the fields like finanace , HR and marketing then In the second year there are two subjects of the specialisation choosed by the student and four common subject , then In the third year there are four subjects of the specialisation choosed by the student and two common subjects There is also project work that is black book which has to be made by the student by doing appropriate research on the topic chosen which should be related to the specialisation choosed by the student submitted in the semister 6,the project is analysed by the college faculties and later evaluated by the Mumbai University faculties as well , & viva is taken by the internal as well as external faculties ( internal that is college faculties and external that is faculties from Mumbai University )
Yes the syllabus was updated quite a good. Faculties were also good. They taught us very nicely. The academics is really good. The teachers give some lively example. I enjoy it as i wanted to do something in banking and insurance.
The faculty is very nice they have an experience of atleast 10-15 years in teaching field. The teachers use modern days case studies for clear understanding of each and every subject. The college takes us for various corporate offices for an edge in it
Traditional classroom teaching methods were adopted but our issues with respect to the faculties were taken care of and timely revisions and portion completion was followed. Yearly feedbacks were taken from students to evaluate the performance of teachers which was taken into consideration and actions were taken to make improvements.
Normal. It's not expensive. They are providing quality education as compared to the fees that they are taking. Because many colleges loot students. But sies have very good and fesable fees structure.
Its little expensive for approx 20k - 30k Its perfect for everyone as money paid is worth. So suggest to opt for sies college rather than other college. Tally fees- 3000 approx Bcom- 8000 approx Bms- 23000 approx Bmm- 24000 approx
The fees structure is definitely not feasible for each student. Each semester a Demand draft of roughly rupees 18,000 needs to be submitted. But the best part about SIES is that it provides a service known as SEAT meaning SIES Education Assistance Trust. This service provides scholarship to the needy and as well as the deserving students. To avail this service, the students are required to submit an application showing their financial condition and monthly family income so that the college can help and initiate the assistance procedure as soon as possible. It just does not limit to this, the minority possessing students are also provided with discounts in fee structure. The 18,000 that the college takes from the rest of the students is justified by providing us with well maintained labs but a slow net connection, a nice library but with a few restrictions on book issuing and returning times, with a lovely gymkhana equipped with a Table tennis, a treadmill. carrom boards and a nice outdoor basketball court.
