Likes

The Fun Life ( Fests , Committees and all ) , and the happy and active environment of the college
The Environment of the college , the college never misses out on any thing be it any festival or any important day , the college celebrates it all and just make the life much better ..

Dislikes

The fact that there are a lot of fests is a advantage but a negative at the same time as there are two many events and the focus of students is totally shifted.
The infrastructure of the college isn't the best , it needs a lot improvement .

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in the college , that is active throughout the year , and brings a lot of job placements and internaships for the students of the college , The job placements is mainly for the third year students , but some common job offers and internaships are offered to all the students ( 1,2&3 rs year students) of the college , A lot of good companies come for placements in the college, Like COLGATE Come for Finance tranee with a CTC of 3,30,000 Rs FEDERAL BANK Comes for all the streams with a CTC of 6,00,000 Rs KPMG Comes for 3-4 different fields with a CTC of 3,50,000 Rs JIO Comes for Marketing Students with a CTC of 2,10,000 Rs ICICI LOMBARD Comes for 2 - 3 diffrent fields with a CTC of 5,50,000 Rs & 3,50,000 Rs HDFC LIFE Comes for Finance Students with a CTC of 4,00,000 Rs UPONLY Comes for Marketing Students with a CTC of 3,00,000 Rs And a lot of other companies come for placements Almost 10-20 percent of the students get placed , My plans are to get job

In last year after completing the studies. Motilal Oswald, muskurahat foundation, IDBI Bank, Younity and many more. 300000 to 50000 per annum. About 70 to 80 percent students. Further studies and a job side by side.

Placement Experience:

The placements mostly start from December onwards- edupristine, Accenture, TCS, jp Morgan, iks healthcare, edu is fun these companies already visited. Mostly they take initial round at college- group discussion n later hr round in company premises. Out of 150, 80 STDs get placed from commerce background, provided few of them wants to study post graduation. Institution teachers become the conveyers n discuss about the company jobs n details prior n share a registration link. Basis on registration student attends the recruitment process.

Placement Experience:

The best companies visit our college to hire students. Almost 30% of the students got placed with the best salary packages. The highest salary package offered for of the students of the previous batch was around Rs, 30,000 per month to Rs. 40,000 per month. Companies like E&Y, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, Media.net and Savage & Palmer, etc., visited our campus to hire the students. A placement cell is also available in our college. The lowest salary package offered was approximately Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 12,000 per month.

Placement Experience:

TCS, BPO came for the recruitment drive during the month of August. Over 150 students from B.COM, BAF, BBI, and BFM appeared for the recruitment process. The first round was the group discussion, written test followed by personal interview. At the end of the process, 56 students got selected.In the second term, eClerx came for placement in the month of December for commerce students and selected 24 students. ICICI Bank have visited our campus in January and selected 8 students from commerce.

Mumbai university gives good opportunities to explore by adding new courses as per demand and expertise giving their students open access to choose preferred course.
My college is autonomous and their teachers are quite brilliant. Considering student’s mental and physical health in due course time. They have helped me shaping my career path.

Dislikes

There might be some biased behaviour towards students by faculty.
Faculty should really consider student’s mental health. There may have been some incidents where professors didn’t have opportunities to other students due to their Likism.

Internships Opportunities:

Name of the company is HANSA RESEARCH CENTRE and my role was as a research analyst to research on foreign universities and help those universities to build it in India as well. It was an international project and my stipend was ?5,000/-

Amazing staff really helpfull for students even tho it does not have a big campus all events are done to the fullest.
From overall what i have heared this college has a good reputation with empowered Autonomous status

Dislikes

Unavailability of teaching staff for a period
No ground for playing or for outdoor activities

Internships Opportunities:

As said i have not completed my studies and have not yet got any internship opportunities. But i hope in last year i get intership which would be helpful for my upcoming career. They provide internship provided by some other websites but it is not useful for me as i ha e opted for finance and there is not much internship realted to finance.

The library is very good and has a large collection of books.
The faculty is amazing and helps in every way possible

Dislikes

The campus is very small and doesnt have a lot of things to explore
The railway concession management is not that good

Internships Opportunities:

There was a job fair held this year where companies from all fields provided internship opportunities to students. College has a tie-up with internshala which provides you internships and offers credits. The college also provides NPTEL courses to students.

I like it's infrastructure, it's atmosphere, it's campus and the teachers

Dislikes

Well I can't say there are much dislikes but yeah some faculties (both teaching and non-teaching) are sometimes behave rude.
HOD of CS department is very unfriendly and not concerned about students problem

Internships Opportunities:

Well teachers will provide you the information about the companies which are hiring interns in various domains. You have to go for the interview and all. Apart from that some teachers also hire students as I tern on the basis of their knowledge to work on certain applications. It will be unpaid internships but you can get to know all the knowledge regarding you career and industry needs. You will be provided 2 projects in the last of the year that is 3rd year of the course where you can create projects on your choice with a group of 2 to 3 people.

Teaching staff are highly qualified and they had good knowledge about their field
Sies college is value for money and provides different exposure

Dislikes

Break time was for 10 mins which is very less hardly we can eat and use restrooms

Internships Opportunities:

you can avail of different courses to increase your knowledge and for your better future. During vacations, we use to have an online workshop that we use to attend and we got participants' certificates which helps to enhance our CV in future.
