No, I did not opt for any hostel accommodation. I used to go from my house. It was close to my house at walkable distance and I used to take approximately 15 minutes to reach my college. I am not aware if there was any hostel accommodation at that time.
Unfortunately, SIES does not provide hostel facilities. However, there are a few students who stay from the college, have thus, rented apartments and are sharing the same by paying a rent of about 3,000-4,000 individually, depending on their exact location. Also, SIES does not provide a MESS facility, but there is a canteen for the rescue, however, let me warn you, it isn't much of a rescue after all, as the food is not very delicious, and the current food caterer isn't too generous with the quantity and they ask too much from students when it comes to paying, also, non-veg lovers, since this college is inclusive of a temple, the canteen serves only vegetarian food, There is also a cafeteria by the Engineering college, which relatively serves better food with nice Iced tea, coffee, maggi and burgers.
No hostel system but we did have a canteen and a Nestle counter that serves cold coffee, frappe, iced tea and hot beverages along with maggi. Canteen also served a variety of food like Chinese, north Indian, south Indian etc and snacks like poha, bada pao, samosa etc. which was delicious, fresh and not too greasy. However, the canteen was in the basement which made it poorly lit and dim and at times the canteen seemed to.lack cleanliness. The chairs and tables were plastic ones and overall the canteen was a bit smaller compared to the crowd that comes in. The canteen was also noisy but the staff handling the counters were good and kind. This is however the state it was in 2012 so I am not sure if the premise was renovated after I graduated.
We don't have hostel facilities. Paying guest facilities are also rare. You can find rooms on rent nearby. The rent varies though. You can share the rented room with friends or you can find a room already having girls/boys staying. I have a friend who stays in an apartment on rent with a bunch of other girls. They share the rent. She alone pays around 5000 per month. They have an the facilities including kitchen, different cupboards, that apartment Is basically designed like a hostel room.
Well if I would have to speak about the facilities its not up to the mark. Throughout those amazing five years 2 years the college canteen was almost closed or there wouldn't be any variety. Canteen facilities was the worst and it didn't mee my expectations. The same was the review of all my friends regarding the same. As the college is Aided the fees is reasonable compared to any other unaided college.

Fantasies is the annual and technical fest of the college it is held for 5 days. Library has a vast collection of books from fictional to biographical. Out course has classrooms with air conditioning in it along with projector. There are various marathons and sports activities held in the college and also small small fest in campus itself for small business to take place.

The overall experience is good there are many groups within college which include rotaract , Leo club etc where students enjoy and get a chance to show off their skills . As said there is no ground all the sports are practiced on a different ground which is far and they do provide equipments for the sports
The college doesn't have a big campus but it really is a good place for a student to concentrate on their studies. We also have a smart class and a good computer lab. Also there are many clubs and all for you to join if you want to.

My overall experience is good and not that great or top of the sky as i was not involved in the fest and all as i am preparing for my masters exams. But if you are in good books of faculty you will get good marks good positions in things and priority.
