The course curriculum is very good, but some courses, like Android, need to be added. Moreover, the industrial exposure is not well provided. As for the faculties, there are some brilliant ones, but there are also some screen readers among them.
No, in our college, they will not provide any internships. We will be doing in-house projects. If the project is good, then they will try to write a paper on it and submit it to the project committee.

Dislikes

Everything was in Tamil in the college, and coming from Mumbai, I could hardly comprehend what they were talking about.
The hostel conditions were actually quite bad with more than three to four people in a single room

Life at CEG

Remarks:

The track record and student support of CEG excited me a lot.The kind of expertise lectures had, the diverse students present makes it a better place for developing us as an individualAdmission process is through counseling program which is to be registered with our board resultsReason for selecting CEG is to get a better place for my career growth. It is the best college in Tamil Nadu after IITs and NITs. Everything is good. Keep up the good work and move on, one small improvement is that For doing lab experiments they can improve by having highly well equipped scholars out to do practical things than theoretical teaching and give more time space to do practical experiments as it will be the vital thing for students as when they move to work environment.

My college is achieving great heights in all fields like sports, academic and research. The hostel facilities is good and provides a good environment. Also being an old institution, alumnis in abroad help us a lot. Overall my college is very good.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college is very developed. The campus surroundings are quiet and healthy which is helpful for studies. There are some departments under development to accommodate a large number of students. The classrooms are well constructed, air conditioned and have space for about 150 students. It has a well-organized library with easy book search and reading facility. The college has an excellent hostel and sports facility. Placements are sure for students with average standard especially Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Meteorology, Mining, Ceramic has high placement options. The faculty here is good and supportive, teachings are done with modern methods like power point presentation and practical views experimentation.
