Remarks

Everything is good. Keep up the good work and move on, one small improvement is that For doing lab experiments they can improve by having highly well equipped scholars out to do practical things than theoretical teaching and give more time space to do practical experiments as it will be the vital thing for students as when they move to work environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is neat and good. Exam structure comprises of all your Engineering concepts that you studied in your Undergraduation as you have to be strong in your basics of engineering concepts and be practicing Maths as it will be the major subject that might get you in whether it might be GATE or TANCET

Placement Experience

4.5

In Anna University, Placements and job opportunities will be in abundant and many good established companies as well as emerging startups will visit out campus. So as far as Placements are concerned, I cannot say any negative remarks about it and many companies recruiting will take students first as an intern but mostly they won't provide internship particularly. Internships are a part of placement process as companies recruiting them via that and after that they'll make them as regular employee (permanent). If you want to attend internships in vacation or learn hands on experience first then you have to try out different platforms like internshala, lets intern, frapp etc. I haven't attended any internships from college.

College Events

4

1)AGNI 2)TECHOFES I am relatively new to college as I am doing my Master's degree so I don't have enough time to notice about the events as my full time gets devoted to doing project but as far I know these are some cultural events and many workshops ,NCC activities will be going through in and around the campus on a monthly basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since mine is a government college fees is feasible but there are two choices one is through GATE and TANCET. For GATE students fees gets reduced upto 10k than TANCET students. The fees is feasible for the infrastructure and the amount of exposure you get than other colleges. Worth the money.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots and lots of scholarship for students who Excel in academics and many alumnis are willing to donate for students who are under privileged with bright academic record. I haven't taken any loans so I don't know much about it. But students with excellent academic records need not worry about anything. Move on and go for it.

Campus Life

4.5

Everything is good in terms of infrastructure as I said earlier I am doing Master's degree programmee so I don't have any time to involve in event activities or sports but I have always seen many people play and during cultural events many people get High rewards and cash price. So motivation and fund providing is high in terms of sports and creative activities. Many projects are being funded my NGO and government for the welfare of students.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am a days scholar so I do not know about the hostel environment but I have been to hostel quite a few times a for studying with my friends, It looks well equipped but food needs to get some improvement

Alumni/Alumna

When you approach them with everything on your side is excellent with academics, talent and skills they'll guide and help you to a next level. As far as alumni netolwork they'll give an application and you'll be joining group when you join college and they provide you valuable advices as of when to do what and how to approach senior professors for projects, scholarships and etc.

Admission

There are 2 processes: 1) Entering through GATE score which you'll get stipends while studying 2)Through TANCET score which you'll not get any stipends. I got admission through TANCET and for TANCET you have to apply via Anna University website. You have to start checking from the month of January to know the updates of the exam being conducted as every year there might be some necessary changes as one year they'll conduct early and any other year little late so you have to be checking from Jan- Feb to know what is happening and how to be ready for the exam.

Faculty

4

All are Doctorate's (Ph.D) faculties and their level of teaching will be in a highly standard level. You have to adapt quickly as no one will start from scratch you have to get self developed through.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
