Me good in mathematics and passion on engineering and technology made me start my career with Computer ScienceFaculty:student ratio is generally not a discrete number in CEG. Each class has 60members, 1proffessor and 5teaching fellows(12students for 1teaching fellow)Professors are ofcourse PhD qualified.Teaching fellows are PhD pursuing.Each professors have unique teaching style which includes board teaching, presentation, discussions, doubt clearing sessions,Teaching Fellows takes care of each students in person.Somehow all the faculties manages to provide a conducive environment for our learning.Computer Science follows rusa regulation which has a mid semester at the middle of a semester. Monthly continuous assessments and assignments.As the splitup for the final semester exam is well diversified, actually it is too easy to pass.

I haven't opted for any internships but our college provides lot of intership opportunities for prefinal year students.Generally companies give training and development in roles like software development.The average stipend for internship in CEG is 40000/-Apart for this we can also do research interships under a professor and also attend workshops conducted by companies to gain industrial knowledge.

Students are eligible for placements in their final year. Generally 7th and 8th semester in case of B.E. Various top companies like Deshaw, Visa, CitiBank, Amazon, Walmart, Bny Mellon, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley and many have visited our campus.This year about 150 members have been offered with FPO till Sept 20.Highest package this year - 36lakhsAverage package this year - 12lakhsMost companies hire for software developer and technology analyst roles.CEGs track record has 100% placement report each year.My plan absolutely is to go for a job as I'm already placed in Citibank.

We have 2 quota members which includes regular and SS. Both are same but just the tuition fee differs.Regular 7500*8 = 60000/-SS 15000*8 = 120000/-Hostels - 10000 per semesterFood/Mess - 14000 per semesterGenerally there is no fee hike policy up to my knowledge.TAMIL NADU STATE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPALUMINI SCHOLARSHIPS etc.There are lot of scholarships available for BC,SC and ST students with low annual income.We have lot events, competitions, games, and internships happening in CEG through which we can get some decent money(5000-30000)Also the average placement of 12LPA is the history.

Students train each day morning and evening, they attend competition representing our college in various games and have won medals.Various social activities are done through NSS and YRC units.CEG also has various clubs on various domains including technology, management, photography, dancing, singing and what not which are managed by students from those clubs.Each club has its own website being managed.

Rooms has 2 packages.Package 1 : 4 in a room, wifi, basic necessities - 10000/- per semester.Package 2 : 2 in a room, AC, wifi, basic necessities - 28000/- per semester.Meal quality is good.Morning - pongal, idly, poori, dosa, vada and addonsAfternoon - meals, different curries, biriyani each sundayNight - fried rice, chappati, dosa, variety rice, channa, mushrooms, paneerRegistration is so simple, which can be made with our admission order in the hostel office.And everything in our college is completely affordable for all sort of students.

No such process post application. Admissions are only based on board results.Students have to register for their college along with department in a list.Based on the applications and availability, appropriate shortlist for each department is obtained.
