The college has two annual fests called eutopia and mini eutopia also every festival from all across the country is celebrated on a huge scale.
Spad is the place where we can get india's best faculty.
Specifying the course details along with a detailed syllabus, past placement reports and future prospects will enable the juniors to make a better decision

Dislikes

The management of hostel and mess is really pathetic in the past few years with increase of fees at
I dislike my hostel facilities. rooms are bad, food is average and washroom facility is really bad.
Hostel facilities are not much good also the drinking water are not good ...after drinking we are facing lots of health issues .

Likes

Faculty is too good they are highly qualified and experienced in their field
Curriculum is usually well structured...and good balance between theory and practical
SPA renowned for its academics excellence in architecture and planning

Dislikes

Infrastructure: the building and the facilities are not good
Placement cell is quite low ...but success in placement also depends on your skills and education
Hostel and college is too far ... students faces many problems for this in transportation

Good hostel system, Good water, Air, Electricity
Nice Student Council, Nice Administration

College Distance from Hostel, around 10km

Course Curriculum Overview:

The future scope to apply and learn different courses is large. Planning is the next upcoming sector. Beneficial for civil services knowledge. Faculty have more than 30 years of experience in field/teaching. Term exams are not difficult to prepare but difficult to score.

Review of SPA DELHI

Likes

I like the classrooms and air conditioner In the class.
I also like the fests in college. They are very interactive and interesting.
The old faculties are very good. Tey are well experienced and very smart.

Dislikes

I dislike my hostel facilities. Rooms are bad, food is average and washroom facility is really bad.
The hostel infrastructure. The building is really old. It needs renovation.
Also the ug faculty. There is a big difference in ug and pg faculties.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. The highest placement is 10 lacs and the average package is 6 lacs. The percentage of students getting placement is low. People can get placement in private as well as government organizations too.

India's Best Planning College

I'm so glad that I got really good faculties from this college.
The ambience we get in hostel will never get anywhere in Delhi
Our college has unique culture, where we get really good connections with seniors and juniors. Juniors can go to any seniors whenever they need help. Seniors are very helpful minded. Even it's late night, we can go to any seniors room for help.

Dislikes

Our hostel is 10km far away from the college
Admin doesn't work properly as we know it's a government institute.
Poor infrastructure is the another issue I've found. We don't have a college campus life in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SPAD is the place where we can get India's best faculty. And it is the best college for planning students as well as architecture students. The faculties are good and supportive. The main highlight of our college is our library. The college curriculum is really good.

An unexplored world of Planning

Likes

Highly qualified and experienced faculty members
Participation of students in extra curicullar activities
Smaller class sizes facilitating one to one interactions

Dislikes

Placement cell leading to lower packages and mostly unpaid internships

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is very weak in college for undergraduate courses. Maximum package in the range of 4-6 lakhs per annum. The majority of the students apply for master in planning courses or MBA. Eligibility for government jobs is also after master's in planning courses.

Dream college for aspiring Urban Planners

Likes

I liked how the school has a good balance of all type of faculties

Dislikes

The only discouraging fact is the infrastructural limits of the college

The faculty are top of the line, having a vast experience and expertise in the field. There are plenty of faculty and maintain a good student-to-faculty ratio. There are all types of faculty contractual, Permanent and visiting faculty so as to maximise the output and reach of knowledge available to the students.

SPA Delhi - small land but bigger heart.

Likes

The night life of hostel is good. The place is always energetic.
The relation of senior and junior is wonderful with no ragging in the campus.
The mess food is good with variety of options.

Dislikes

The over work in architecture department.

Placement Experience:

The college hardly provides placement but in the architecture department the placement goes as high as 20 lakhs and in the planning department it goes up to 12 lakhs. The average package is 6 lakhs. I am thinking of a master's in environment planning.

SPA New Delhi Review.

Likes

Unique Course with vibrant campus culture.
Less students as compared to iits and nits.

Dislikes

Campus Is very old and small with poor infrastructure.
Hostel is 10 km far away from the college.
The Admin does not work and function properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very diverse and not restricted to any particular domain. Faculties are well qualified with PhDs. And the faculty-to-student ratio is also fine. Although the teaching methods are a bit traditional.

My understanding about SPA Delhi

Placement Experience:

In the case of transportation planning, 95% of placement offers are available. Some of them got placed by their finds, some people got placed by their internships. So internships during semester breaks are very much important. Faculties will help us to get placed.

SPA Delhi - A Small Plethora of opportunities

Placement Experience:

7th sem onwards for campus placements. Offers are made for about 20 percent of students of the class. people apply for masters and pursue higher studies ( about 25 percent ). Rest have pre-placement offers. I plan on applying for jobs after the degree.
