Review of school of planning and architecture delhi

Fees and Financial Aid:

Every semester the fees is around 50k. It starts from 42k in first semester and then it increases. This includes every fee except the hostel fee. I'm in general category so I don't receive any scholarship.

SPA Delhi

The fees per semester including tuition fee, activity fee, library fee etc. is 49,000 for Gen/ OBC and 29,000 for SC/ST. In the first senester you'll have to pay an additional amount of 20,000 as security deposit which will be returned back. Hostel fee amount to 27,000 and mess 35,000. There are various scholarship options if you belong to EWS and other backward classes which cover up the tuition fees like National Scholarship Programe and so on.

Think twice before you come here

Year wise, including the hostel fees i pay around 1,30,000. The hostel + mess fees takes up a lot but otherwise, just the college fee is less for an architecture and planning university. It is however not that cheap in terms of a government affiliated college.

At the end of the year some amount of mess dues comes for the meals we missed to have going upto ?10000or more or less. There are no scholarships from the college's side on merits or anyother criteria.

Experience of SPAD as a planner

The tution fee here is similar as IIT, which is indeed high. It's lesser for EWS and reservation similar. The hostel fee here is arround 24000 and mess fee being around 30000(yearly). It is pretty affordable but getting it is hard. The hostel restrictions are very minimum and the culture is pretty good. We got a common courtyard and mess in boys hostel. There very few scholarship options, for masters u have the Gate Scholarship. The placement cell is pretty good and the allumni are good and getting jobs with average package is easy.

SPA Delhi review

The current fee is 75000rs. But apparently, the fees of tuition, mess and hostel are increasing rapidly every year. There are few scholarships available. No campus employment you can undertake.

All you need to know about spa-d

The fees are almost 50k per semester with no additional amounts the hostel takes almost 50k per year inclusive if mess charges totaling to 1.5 PLA Not many scholarships are there but a few are provided like Bluestar and NASA. The 4th year internship can provide stipend of upto 25k per month while the placement may range upto 4-5 LPA.

First footprints in college

The total cost is very high approx 10 -12 lakhs The rate regularly increases and hostel fees is also fees. Also has very high mess fees of 40,000 per semester. I didn't have much information about the scholarships.
