Does the college have a research and development cell?

As an important step for achieving excellence in Engineering education, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) has established a Research Development and Consultancy Cell in the college. Consultancy work is being taken up utilizing the idle capacity of laboratories and other infrastructure. Extension work will be taken up in a big way to fulfill the social commitment of the institution. Students trained in VAST, through their active participation in research and consultancy will be exposed to field problems so that they will be more confident to take up challenging jobs in their career. Involvement in the developmental activities of the country will enable VAST to fulfil its social obligations. The transformation of VAST into a full-fledged Deemed Technological University would be made easier by the successful activities of the Research, Development and Consultancy Cell.

What scholarships are available for students?

There are a number of scholarships available for those from economically weak backgrounds. These scholarships are for BTech students.

What does the green club do?

A 'GREEN CLUB' has been formed with the intention to popularize the use of bicycles amongst the staff and students of Vidya Academy of Science & Technology. Apart from helping to reduce pollution, it provides an excellent form of exercise, which is much needed in our present day life styles. Cycles are kept at various centres from wherein the members can draw, use and deposit them at their convenience. The intention of the club is to promote clean environment, health, spread the concept of good health and maximize the users. The membership fees is a meagre Rs 100/- for a year. The drive has been an unprecedented success.

The fee structure in here as I came in a merit seat is 75K per annum but still you will have to spend a bit more money on college fest and other reasons. The college really gives placements and other opportunities to the students based on their skills and marks.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees before scholarship is 1 lakh 25 thousand with scholarship i got 74 thousand per year.Other scholarship was also there for backward classes which was only 15 thousand per year.Also college provided woth laptops for those students.

VAST THRISSUR

Fees and Financial Aid:

The government fee allotted for the merit seat is 35000 for each sem and tha sum comes 75000 per year.But it can be change according to the reservation criterias.and also the collage provide half or full fee wavier schemes.

If you cracked entrance exams . There is a huge discount in fee structure. Like keam , jee etc. And if you are a diploma or polytechnic student wants to study engineering.then you can write . LET exam .which also includes reduction in fee structure. You will be promoted to 2nd year in btech. And also there is caste and religion fee reduction.

Fees and Financial Aid:

As I hail from SC category I have acces to e-grantz scholarship. As my annual incime is below 2 lakhs I will get around 75 k to pay the fees . Rest the bus amount and miscellaneous fee would cost arount 10 k . The campus recruits the placement opportunities in higher semester levels.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fees should be reduced as its comparitively high with what we get. The complete cost covered was approximately 600000 which is much high compared to other colleges.Various scholarships was provided to students based on caste , marks based on entrance and 12th grade marks . Scholarships upto 20,000 was given . Campus placements from federal bank , unacademy was undertaken but few students were placed ie compatively low compared to other branches.

As the college is being run by the Vidya charitable trust, various scholarships are available for the students based on their marks and also based on their financial status. The average fees for the management quota for the Electronics and Communication stream is around Rs. 60,000 per year.

In the case of tution fees very rudely behaviour from manager.

In my college have more scholarships are provided.But iam studying in NRI quota.in here fees structure is 65000 per year i think total four years may be 3 lakhs and more.in government seats may be 35000 only for one year

Cracking internships

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution fees are not that high and are not that low. Well , I'm on a scholarship so I'm actually learning the topics for free as I have gotten great marks in school and also in 1st and 2nd semester. 1 lakh per year is a great scheme. There are lots of scholarships provided via the government as well as our college itself. I got full fees merit scholarship but there are partial fees merit scholarship and also scholarships provided to those students whose parents are working in this college.
