Does the college allow cancellation of admission?

Cancellation is allowed but processing charges and liquidation damage will be cut.

Does the college provide a fee concession?

Fee concession is as per government rules. SC, ST candidates are eligible for fee concession.

Does the college have a research and development cell?

As an important step for achieving excellence in Engineering education, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) has established a Research Development and Consultancy Cell in the college. Consultancy work is being taken up utilizing the idle capacity of laboratories and other infrastructure. Extension work will be taken up in a big way to fulfill the social commitment of the institution. Students trained in VAST, through their active participation in research and consultancy will be exposed to field problems so that they will be more confident to take up challenging jobs in their career. Involvement in the developmental activities of the country will enable VAST to fulfil its social obligations. The transformation of VAST into a full-fledged Deemed Technological University would be made easier by the successful activities of the Research, Development and Consultancy Cell.

What scholarships are available for students?

There are a number of scholarships available for those from economically weak backgrounds. These scholarships are for BTech students.

What does the green club do?

A 'GREEN CLUB' has been formed with the intention to popularize the use of bicycles amongst the staff and students of Vidya Academy of Science & Technology. Apart from helping to reduce pollution, it provides an excellent form of exercise, which is much needed in our present day life styles. Cycles are kept at various centres from wherein the members can draw, use and deposit them at their convenience. The intention of the club is to promote clean environment, health, spread the concept of good health and maximize the users. The membership fees is a meagre Rs 100/- for a year. The drive has been an unprecedented success.

Faculty:

The faculty members are quite a great number. You can seek help from them even for non academics. In here also curricular activities are supporting as well. There is a total of 8 sem and exam fir each sem as well. Plus you will be attending series 1,2 exams in each sem plus lab exams as well.

Faculty:

In our college most of the teachers were good and friendly towards students only one ot two didn't know how to teach properly even though they had a good qualifications. Courses for each semester wise marking schemes were in grade system out of 10.

Faculties are very well experienced and skilled. Most of them holds respectable degrees and are very well qualified and done there degrees in Nit , GEC , and some in same college itself. They are very much friendly and available when ever we need them.

Faculty:

Teachers helps the students who are in need. They interact with the ines whi face depression and has bad marks in the sem examinations. They provdide remedial classes for the weaker ones who are weak in academics compared to other students.The teachers guide us emminently.

The college faculties were bit strict as they disallowed us to do parties inside our college

I really like how the faculty manage to finish the subjects on time and how efficiently they accomplish it. They also provide various resources to study and enrich us with relevant knowledge.

Faculty:

The faculty members are quite good. Some of the members are professors and some are assistant professors. They also provide us great insight into the topics they teach us and also give us in-depth knowledge. Most of the members are highly skilled and has a great amount of knowledge and some even has PhDs in great subjects. They are great mentors and also support us and guide us through our journey. We can approach them at any time without any hesitation.
