The ROI of college is great. You get much higher ROI than what you invest.

Dislikes

The rest of the batch crowd is not so serious, so sometimes can become a reason for stagnance in growth. But though, I would say, one should focus on his/her own development.
Campus life is not at all happening. No proper infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this as I always wanted to pursue MBA from a good college and I got a chance to do it from Mumbai University which holds prestige. There is 1 faculty per subject for a batch of 172 in the 1st year. Later, in 2nd year the batch gets divided as per their chosen specialization. Faculties come with a rich and diversified industry experience of years. They teach based on what's required in the real industry and how the curriculum can be aligned with that. Rest assured, you are going to learn from the finest teaching faculties at SIMSREE. For our batch, exams were conducted a bit in a rush as we started late due to Covid times. But in normal times, all the exams are conducted duly as per the university guidelines.

Inflated Average CTC is one of the things that irked me

I wanted a backup option since I was aiming for the top 10 institutes in the country. I wanted to appear for CAT, and hence SIMSREE with its low fees, appeared like a lucrative option. There are about 7 or 8 faculty members in the college. Most of the professors who taught us were visiting faculties, who were CXO's of various large companies. To be honest, it was a very underwhelming experience on the learning front, as I found most of the lectures very monotonous and bland. Term exams are fairly easy to pass, and even though the teaching experience is not that great, the college still has an average CTC of 12LPA, which I think is quite impressive considering the fees it charges.

I was looking for a marketing Domain, so this college is pretty good for marketing and finance. The college is affiliated with Mumbai university so sometimes the exams get delay. You have to study very hard if u are watching your books at the last moment. Teachers and faculties are very good some of them are from big firms.

The faculties in SIMSREE are industry veterans who also are passionate about imparting their learnings to students. This ensures that each and every teacher that teaches in SIMSREE know their subject in and out and can give us students the most relevant and practical learnings in that subject. While the curriculum itself is given by Mumbai University and is a bit outdated, the teachers themselves ensure that students are up to date with the current practices of the industry.

The faculties are mostly visiting and industry experts having many years of experience in teaching and they know about the actual happenings in the industry. So these lectures give extremely useful insights that books can never give. The faculty-student ratio is 1:80. Exams are held twice a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The lowest fees in all over india. Only 1.36 lakhs for 2 years full time mba and we also get scholarships of around 40k.it is among one of the best return on investment. The fees structure is feasible.

SIMSREE, a college that is student driven!

Since it is a government college the fees is minimum. It has the best ROI(Return on Investment) in Maharashtra. According to 2017-19 batch, the fees are Rs 67,000 (annually) and 2000 (refundable library fees). The fee structure to be remain same for the coming year.

More about tradition and less about education.

For B.Com the fees was very low as the college was a government college. It was hard 15000 rs for each year. The fees was more for the unaided category.
