What Students Say
Likes
- Best Faculties to learn from. Just interact with them often.
- The ROI of college is great. You get much higher ROI than what you invest.
- The top 30% of the batch crowd is very talented and you can learn a lot from them.
Dislikes
- The rest of the batch crowd is not so serious, so sometimes can become a reason for stagnance in growth. But though, I would say, one should focus on his/her own development.
- Campus life is not at all happening. No proper infrastructure
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this as I always wanted to pursue MBA from a good college and I got a chance to do it from Mumbai University which holds prestige. There is 1 faculty per subject for a batch of 172 in the 1st year. Later, in 2nd year the batch gets divided as per their chosen specialization. Faculties come with a rich and diversified industry experience of years. They teach based on what's required in the real industry and how the curriculum can be aligned with that. Rest assured, you are going to learn from the finest teaching faculties at SIMSREE. For our batch, exams were conducted a bit in a rush as we started late due to Covid times. But in normal times, all the exams are conducted duly as per the university guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
Sorry, we are not authorized to disclose any information related to summer internships or final placements. But you can always visit the college website to get the details. But I can surely say one thing there are ample great opportunities for both summer internships and final placements.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 3rd sem for final placements. For the name of companies visited, roles offered, and average and highest package, you can visit the college website to get the placement details. We are not authorized this information on open platforms. The best part of this college is that 100% of the students get placed. I plan to start working with the organization I am placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite straightforward. 1st-year fees : Rs 69000, 2nd-year fees : Rs 67000. Being a government college, the fees generally don't get hiked up. You can apply for different government scholarships as per your reservation and category.
Campus Life
The Annual fest is SIMERGENCE - a 3-day annual event in February comprising of management, sports, and cultural competitions. An annual sports competition is also there for 3 days (December). You get to learn how to organize and conduct these events which improves your team and management skills. An amazing collection of books and journals in the library. 2 years will be less to go through the best books. I emphasize to make the best use of it. I still miss my library the most. The Classrooms are well-equipped with Screens and projectors, well-maintained sitting chairs, and air conditioning. There are in total 10 different clubs and committees conducting various events throughout the year. You can find more details on the college website.
