my sem 1 in SFIMAR

we do not have a textbook . syballus is what is important for us to understand before going to the corporate world . I wanted to do masters study that will give a push to my resume as well as make my ready for the corporate world out there . though honestly i was looking for MBA but here in mumbai only MMs is available. my friend who are working some are studying in pune , bangalore have said that the MMS is only recognized in mumbai only .

i have not got any internship opportunity for my self . my frinds who were in earlier batch said they have llimited internship oppotunity . So for summer internship they ahd to look for themsleves . the internship should be onlt for 60 days.

from last year students , placements are decent but not that amazing , the average salary package offered here are arounmd 4 LPA to 5 LPA only . it also depends on students performance in the interviews . they provide good skills and knowlegde but if you solely want college offering high package placement this is not it . the companies who names are often taken are JP Morgan and black rock . other decent companies are also providing placement oppportunity with decent packages.

For my first year which consist of sem 1 & sem 2 I paid ?2,27,400 /- , along with that I paid ?1000 for CET portal. ?11000/- for alumini, which is refundable. The uniform fees were also paid later ?4000/- . My friend got admission through minority ( christian minority which should be selected while filling the CET admission form ) so she got a little discount on fees . I am not sure but maybe she only paid ?1,80,000 something. if you are a christian student it is good for you . even hindus , scheduled caste study also can apply for scheme provided by the government . the college staff enlighten us about that too .

The cqampus life was lite for me . we had garba day , christmas party . they have so many events throughtout the year . they are various clubs like green clubs , social media club , photography club etc . i think around 8 clubs are there . each club have various events . plus exuberance that is their biggest inter college event and luminace their annual day . all students are made participate in it . along with that we have industry visit they take us to jaipur , udaipur , silwasa mahableshwar etc and internation visit mainly thailand as well . sport events such as inter and intra is also kept . a small fun one day picnic cum sport days event is kept in uttan where various activity for students are kept.

i had applied for st. xavier ( XIMAR) , MET and this SFIMAR during admission form filling , but as usual my names were not on any list except Sfimar after my last trial , so i appliede for this college . my few classmate also have taken admission in this college . so they kind of influence me to take admission here.

we have various faculty members for us ; in my first sem we 3 class had 2 different professor for one subject. we had a good relation with our professors . they were quiet helpful . some teachers were so understanding . Mayank sir is my memorable faculty member to me . he constantlyb used to pick me to answer the question , at first i used to so nervous to answer later used to getb irritated but slowly slowly i gain confidence enough to answer on my own . now without even calling my name i myself give him the answer . he actually help me boost my confidence and helped me with public speaking . preeti maam and ganga maam both help me to come out to my shell and be strong . they help me overcome my stage fear. now after every speech performance i see the proud look on their face that makes me soo happy .

our college timing is from 9:30 am to 5:30 or 6 , sometimes due to club activity we have to stay till 8 as well . the area is safe , 10 mins walking distance from the railway station , quicly transports like buses and auto are available too. college have hostel for both boys and girls . cafeteria provide decent food . we have some cool cafes shops nearby the college . a sationary shop just opposite to the college.
