Worth against the investment on fees

Positive- there are enough opportunities to learn entertainment and practicing the learnings. Negative- If opportunities provided are not taken seriously then it may distract the students from learning to entertainment mode only that they may have to pay badly.

Sfimar MMS follows standard semester system according to guidelines of Mumbai University along with multiple additional programs designed by college in order to make students industry ready. SFIMAR PGDM follow the trimester system which is quite dynamic, entertaining and the same time industry oriented.students are given enough exposure to learn and practice the managerial skills within the college and also through live projects with companies like MacDonald's India, future group etc.

All the students in SFIMAR get internship both from PGDM & MMS. There are multiple well known companies like Amul, Maple, Crossword, HDFC, ICICI, Hindustan times etc coming to Sfimar since long. It depends upon the students how they perform in interview as it's pure competition from other colleges as well as within college. Those who can not secure any paid internship, college provide them internship but on non paid basis.

Placement at SFIMAR great for marketing, Average for Finance & HR. Companies like ITC, Canon, Aditya Birla, Black Rock, capital first, Godrej and Boyce, Crossword and many more visited this year. There are enough opportunities given by college specially to marketing students to get the breakthrough. It highly depends upon students how seriously they take their one and half year to get selected in last six months.

Almost all the festivals are celebrated by SFIMAR starting from independence day to Holi. Some of the biggest events which are conducted by SFIMAR are Speaker series Aluminia meet Exuberance Outbound program Synergy etc

Fees in SFIMAR is very competitive as compare to any other colleges in Mumbai. I guess it is the only college where the PGDM fees is lesser than MMS fees. Talking about return on investment the fees is reasonable for marketing students as they provide ample of opportunities to get placed.

There are no scholarship programs in my knowledge from college end. College provide good assistance in education loans which makes admission process smooth for students. I got loan from UCO Bank for my admission.

There are more than 15 events conducted by SFIMAR which are completely college sponsored. College have more than 6 labs within the campus. Francis provide separate campus to MMS and PGDM which is a huge 3 stories building along with garden playground auditorium, parking, canteen, hostel all within the same campus.campus has greenary all round. Labs are equipped with all advance machines.

Hostel facilities are good at SFIMAR since the hostel is within the campus. The rent for the hostel is worth to the facilities provided. There are separate premises for girls and boys hostel that makes it even greater.

College provide ample of opportunities to meet and network alimni of college by inviting them to the college for various events. The senior students are also very helpful and welcoming to new comers in college.

For MMS Its regular semester pattern which are being followed by college. For PGDM they follow trimester system. There are multiple class tests and priliminary exams conducted by faculties to brush up the knowledge of students.

There are two different courses at Sfimar i.e. PGDM & MMS. For MMS the admission process is very standard as per the Mumbai University guidelines. There is 49% Catholic quota (Not sure about exact seats). One can also opt for management quota seats after cet process completion. For PGDM the process is very smooth one has to just visit the college and buy the admission forms. There will be few written & psychometric tests but that doesn't have any significant impact on admission confirmation. It's kind of first come first get system where if you are not so sure about getting some good college one can go and take the admission.

Faculties are higly qualified and possess great industry experience. There is good combination of faculties with industry experience and academic expertize. Professors at SFIMAR are open to students, their cabins are always open and welcome to any kind of discussion and query. They take personal interest in the students under than and train them to become the best.
